My wife is looking for something written, like an outline or questions where she can fill in answers and take notes on each book of the Bible. Her learning is geared more towards reading and writing, as mine is hearing, and she is looking for something to write in (answers / notes) while reading along.

Any study tools / outlines you would recommend? We have used Lifeway, but if anybody knows something online (i.e. free :)) please post a link. Thanks.

My family uses catechisms. We use Richard Cecil's 1798 catechisms with my children, it's free online here. My wife and I use William Gadsby's 1800 catechism, free online here. It's been a real blessing to use catechisms over the last few years along with different Baptist confessions of faith including the First London Baptist, the 1689, the New Hampshire and the Gospel Standard Articles. Recently I purchased the following:

It includes studying questions at the back of the book for each chapter.

    Peace,

Hmmm, I find it strange that Baptists would recommend non-Baptist websites to study the Bible.

Hmmm, I find it strange that some Baptists think you can only learn from other Baptists.

Isaiah40:28, You are welcome. I enjoy listening to lecture type teaching.

Here are some other sites for Listening:

I would rather have my instruction from the right sources.

Never said only Baptists would be in Heaven, in fact, I preach against the Baptist Bride position.

You may think it strange, and I wouldn't be surprised if you did, but I know some catholics that received Christ by faith and not any eucharist involved!

You misrepesent me many times in an effort to invalidate what I say.

That could be viewed as bearing false witness.

I recommend many teachers, wherein is found wisdom and safety, it's just for new converts that other doctrines sweep in and leave them fruitless.

    Just excercising prudence you know.

Where have I done such a thing? Or did you quote the wrong person?

I apologize. You are right. I was responding to you instead of some one else right before your post

    Again, I apologize.

Why was this moved to versions and translations? This has nothing to do with either! Can it be moved back?

For several years I have taken people through Step by Step Through the Old Testament and Step by Step Through the New Testament. Both are fill in the blank workbooks available from Lifeway. They are workbooks that guide a person through a survey of the Old and New Testaments.
