    I don't support abortion, let alone gloat about it. My wife, nor anyone else in my family has ever had or helped another person have an abortion.

    Or it could say that the Greek language uses the same word. It's no different than we say she is carrying a baby.

    Either way, I don't think we can use clear to describe your conclusion.

    You support and render aid to the cause of abortion by empowering leaders that enable and protect this evil. When you vote for a candidate that supports abortion, you support abortion.

    If I give a serial killer a knife and leave him alone in a room with a bound woman for an hour, I am partly responsible if he kills her, whether I (or my wife) have ever killed a woman or not.
