Lord help us when getting a man elected becomes more important than standing firmly for you.

I believe BG took the page down to show he is voting for Romney this upcoming election. It would be hypocritical to have a web site that declares Romney's religion a cult and still vote for him.

I realize the phrase "God help us" has become a common phrase for desperation, but why would you or anyone else expect God to help us. He has blessed this nation more than any nation in history. Poor people here live like kings do in other nations. The Lord judged nations in the Old and to some degree in the New Testement for a lot less than we have done. The only amazing thing about the whole situation is that we are still here to thumb our nose at God. Granted, abortion and same sex activity have been around longer than the Untied States. We are the ones that went from hiding and being ashamed of such activity, to making it the law of the land on abortion, and just a matter of time until gay marriage is the law nationally. It is one thing to sin, it is quite another to rub God's nose in it.

So this is the hand we are dealt of our own making this election. Maybe it is better than we deserve. Given the circumstances, you have never given a solution to what a person is suppose to do in the short run. Most think you are an Obama supporter. I give you the benefit of the doubt that you like neither major candidate. As far as third party, Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate, besides having no chance, is for legalizing drugs and prostitution. That is just what we need. Another set of laws that goes against Biblical doctrine.

I have told you the story about me being an elected delegate to the Constitutional Party national convention several times, and how shallow that was.

So I have two questions I will repeat again? One, what have you done the last four years to effect a decent nominee of either party besides post on BB? Two, what else do you expect voters to do in this year 2012?

What good do you think that such threads serve after the primary season is over?

No apology needed since there was no offense.

If you don't mind me saying, if you still think that I was trying to make a point then you are wound up too tightly.

Sure I have. Most just don't want to hear it because it's more important to get votes for Romney. I've always said that regardless of who is running, Christians should side with God and do what He has called us to do even if it means a candidate we don't want to win does.

This isn't about an election. Never has been. This is all about God and how the ones who supposedly follow Him continue to thumb their noses at Him in DISOBEDIENCE because we think our sacrifice of voting for the lesser of two evils or the man who can do less damage to the country or the one whose morals closer align with our own is a sacrifice that honors God.

It isn't and the majority of you KNOW it isn't just like Billy Graham and his staff know this is a very wicked thing that they have done.

Our short run is the same as our long run should be: OBEDIENCE.

And God HAS NOT attempted to divide His House by calling HIS followers to support that which is against Him. That is a construct of men pushing their own wicked desires that are completely focused on what man wants with little or no regard for what God says.

It's the same thing the Church has said for the longest about homosexuals and Muslims and anyone else who has attempted to justify doing wrong regardless of what Scripture says.

Our sacrifice IS NOT better than obedience.

What we are doing is wicked and what Billy Graham's organization did on his website simply highlights how wicked it is, and the degree of wickedness "Christians" will tolerate to get what they want, again, with seemingly no regard for what God says.

I'm a Jesus Christ supporter because He's a supporter of me. It really doesn't bother me who is in office because again, the very things we are complaining about are the result of the same type of hypocrisy we're displaying about this election. Not the politicians. US. God's people.

In the last four years I have traveled the world preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ , making disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost and teaching them to obey everything that God commanded.

Christian OBEDIENCE is the only thing that would effect any real moral shift in this country or in the pool of nominees.

I expect the lost to act like the lost in 2012. I expected God's people to finally take a stand for HIM over our own selfish desires as He once again has given us the perfect opportunity to showcase Him.

Instead we have chosen to showcase the same sort of zeal for this world and the idolatrous things of this world that we are supposed to be preaching against.

It is a very, very wicked thing that we do in 2012.

You seem to still think this is about an election. It is not. I already have a KING. And He will not ever be defeated.

Absolutely and completely embarrassing , based upon his earlier comments to Romney of being willing to do anything he can to help him, to imply that this man who worships a false god is basing his decisions on Biblical principles.

Everyone on this board has a King, that being Jesus Christ. Now, what does Jesus Christ being our King have to do with electing a President of the United States? You have absolutely not given any spritual or other reason as to what to do about this election. By implication, we might come to the conclusion that we should sit at home and not vote, which brings into office for another four years a person who has an agenda of every immoral act immaginable.

Until a few days ago, I constantly posted that your purpose in the Romney threads was your moral outrage at his past record and his faith. I have had several clashed with other posters over this. In the last few days however, it has become quite apparant that your threads are not so morally pure, but nothing but a disquised agenda for Obama.

I could understand a moral stance, except that you never gave any solution. In fact, my guess is that you did nothing in the last four years to make a change but post on Baptist Board and other such forums, you know, kind of like a pew sitter in church, that gossips about other people's sin.

If you wanted to support Obama, then be direct about it. Pointing out Romney's flaws and pretending to be as much against Obama had no purpose after the primaries were over.

You act like you have some deep understanding of Mormon doctirne that none of us do. There are people on this board who have studied the Mormon faith in detail, and will still vote for Romney with a full understand of what it means for a Christian to vote for Romney.

If you want to vote for Obama, then vote for Obama, just be honest about it. Try getting out of your arm chair and doing something to change the country we live in. If you want a theocracy, then become a citizen of a theocracy. In this nation, we are run by the Constitution.

The web site removing Mormonism is much ado about nothing.

    And, SN, great post.

Agreed. I am frankly tired of the Personal Attacks and finger pointing towards Romney supporters on the Board, all with an "air of self-righteousness" and charges of hypocrisy. I usually find that when someone accuses me of something that I am not guilty of, the accuser is the one who is guilty of what they accuse me of. It's a game with some people, especially those who have a poor self image and need to feel important.

As I have stated before, there are Mormons and then there are Mormons, just as there are Baptists and then there are Baptists. Not all Mormons are going to hell and not all Baptists are going to heaven.

BTW, I VOTED for Mitt Romney yesterday, early voting. And I'm glad I voted for him and feel peace about it. He deserves the opportunity to lead this Nation and ANYTHING he does will no doubt be better than the last 4 years of ineptitude, blunders, treason, and corruption. I continue to pray for Mitt Romney's safety and that of his family, especially after reading the tweets by obama supporters threatening to assassinate him.

Be as tired as you like. Until you say the same to the folks making the personal attacks and airs of righteousness towards those who don't support Romney, there really isn't much use for you to be sharing what you're tired of.

So what is your explanation for not being clear about your agenda in these threads, which has become even to someone like me who is not all that perceptive?

You asked what good I think such a thread would serve after the primary season is over? And I said I have a King . I'm not looking to elect one. You want to change the country from the ballot box. And what ails this country can't be fixed from the ballot box. So you continue to pursue to elect the country's savior. I already have One whose right is not to be ignored just because the primary season has past and y'all don't want anyone to say anything negative about the newly crowned Republican savior.

Sure have. You just haven't been listening because you're set on voting to "save the country". I'm not worried about saving the country. God can handle His business. Vote for that which supports Christ.

Biblical convictions are based in God's word and they DO NOT create conflict with anything else in his word.

And all this talk from many about being convicted to vote for a false god worshiper is a bunch of baloney. The Holy Spirit ain't dividing God's house. Yall might be convicted, but it certainly isn't from God who does not author confusion.

So let me spell it out for you. You've got two anti-Christ candidates. Don't vote for either. Find you a nice alternative to write in.

Now come back and give me all the wonderful reasons why that's a wasted vote.

By implication , the lot of you on this board often come to the wrong conclusion when it comes to any discussion of Romney and this election.

And it's this type of silliness that CLEARLY tells me where the discernment of the many on this board comes from. And then some of you wonder how I can be so adamant about what I say against the Mormon anti-Christ.

Again, my moral stance doesn't demand a solution. it demands an act of obedience. YOU want a solution. the solution is what it's always been: Side with God instead of acting like you're doing Him a favor by supporting that which is against Him.

    .

You continue to feel free to guess however you choose. Like I said, it only takes a few comments from folks for me to know where their discernment in these matters is coming from.

And YOU keep trying to change the country. I'll keep preaching the Gospel.

It may have no purpose for you or those of you who don't want your candidate portrayed in a non-positive manner. But I was called by God to preach the truth. And HE could care less about your need to set aside the truth because the primary season is over. By now you should be well aware that I don't care about politics the way that you do. I serve Jesus Christ FIRST and that doesn't take a break because the primaries of an election are over.

And you act like you know what I've studied when you do not.

You work on changing the country. I'll keep my focus on Christ and His Kingdom.

My explanation is what are you looking for my agenda for? You want a political answer and as I've said, I could care less about the results of a political election. I'm all about cutting back the evil that gets in the way of sharing the Gospel. And right now, that is the scourge of Mormonism and its poster boy Mitt Romney being championed by the same evangelicals who couldn't stand him six months ago.

So while you're giving my agenda, why don't you make clear how the majority agenda on this board is to be pro-Romney for everything, and to whine like children when everybody doesn't support his candidacy.

Yes because we all know that those supporting Romney would never do anything hypocritical or anything that would give the impression that they are doing something out of political expediency with no regard for what it does to their Christian witness.

Sure you will. Promoting the Obama agenda really is a way to focus on His Kingdom. If you were interested in changing hearts of unsaved people, then why are you constantly in the politics section? When do you have time for telling others the Gospel when you are here 24/7?

Everyone knows true change comes from the heart, not legislation. If you believe that to be true, then why are you so worried about Romney, and not Obama?

Your threads are so much baloney.

Oh that's right because you've really seen me promoting the things that Obama supports. You can save that because I know 100% factually that you haven't seen me supporting anything that the Obama anti-Christ supports.

I don't possess the power or authority to change anyone's heart. That's a work of the Holy Spirit. But all the anti-Christ rhetoric on this board that uplifts that which is against Christ sure does present a stumbling block for those attempting to escape from error.

I'm hardly here 24/7. There's more than enough hours in a day for God to use me to combat wickedness on this board and off it too.

    ?

And why don't you absolutely brilliant people who act like you know everything ever retain information? As I've said before, y'all got the anti-Obama angle covered. Y'all just can't stand that anyone would dare cover the anti-Romney angle "in your house" .

Then the solution to that is that you stay out of them.

I cannot believe I argued with poster after poster on your behalf. There is only one person I can call an idiot and not get an infraction, and that is me. That is exactly what I was for ever thinking you had some pure motive for your posts.

Zaac- You have said many, many times that you are against Romney. You have said that you are against Obama. You have said that we should write in a candidate. You have not said who you do support, other than Christ (who is not running).

You have said that you will not be voting. You may have a Constitutional right to speak, but you have no moral authority to lecture us without actually participating in the election.

(Note: Mr. Angry was accidental. Typing this on my phone and cannot seem to be able to edit it out.)

Oh goody! Another post by Zaac that needs to be translated.

Translation: Anyone on BB voting for Romney sees him as the savior and are denying Jesus.

Translation: Since you're not getting your conviction from God you are being led around by the nose by Satan. Good thing I'm not!

Translation: Please write-in Zaac on November 6th. I am.

    Translation: I'm right, and you're wrong. Nah-nah!

Translation: Your discernment comes from Satan.
