No. The last time I flew commercially was 2007. The last time I flew at all was around 2010 or so when I flew on the Murphy Oil Corporation private jet to North Dakota to check out an ethanol plant as the company was starting to dip its toe into that industry. A private jet is NICE! :Biggrin

Is that private jet about the same size as a 787?

No, I have never flown on the plastic jet. But I wanted to!
    I have flown on 737s, 747s, 757s, 767s and Triple Sevens.
Recently Boeing had to stop production of the 787 because of quality issues in assembly. The carbon fiber parts must be fitted together properly and a number of botched joints were found. They recently restarted production so hopefully they figured out what was wrong. The road to success is paved with partial victories.

I did walk around a 787 at the Pima Air Museum near Tucson, one of the first two built and used to initial testing. Did not get to go inside. :)
