In other developments, Germany expels four Iraqi diplomats for activities considered "incompatible with their diplomatic status".

Ya know, I kinda like the approach so far, not doing anything too drastic, not nuking them, just annoying the heck out of them until they give up on their own. [IMG]

At the rate of 15 soldiers per day this war could take a while!!

I'm sure once the shelling starts, it will be more than just 15 a day surrendering.

According to a link posted by TUOR in the Current Events Forum...

    "THE WAR HAS STARTED"

According to what I read when I clicked on the link; Iraq fired at US planes and we retaliated by dropping bombs.

The artillery target that was bombed was not the start of Gulf War 2. It's a target that's within the southern "no fly" zone, which the US and Britain have been patrolling regularly since the end of Gulf War I. The zone has seen several military strikes by US and UK forces over the last 12 years.

OK, thanks. I read the article to mean that Iraq had fired on two US planes in the 'no fly' zone.

What time is this supposed to start 'our' time?

Pres Bush said it would be at a time of our choosing. I think that's Texan for "whenever we're darn good & ready".
