BREAKING NEWS: Rummy stepping down

I thank Sect. Rumsfeld for his dedicated service to this nation under the most trying of circumstances.

Selected to oversee the reorganization of what was left of our active duty forces after Clinton finished "downsizing", he was met by a hostile military bureaucracy resistant to change.

It was his misfortune that he had to go to war with a military whose ranking generals mistrusted him from day one. The cause of the mistrust: One of his well known goals was to bring balance back to an officer corps that was extremely topheavy. That won him few friends in the upper ranks of our military.

They made it a point to make public their disagreements. That is rare for the military but some of their careers were on the line, so he was second guessed and stonewalled at every opportunity.

Godspeed, Mr. Secretary.:thumbs: Well done.

This war will go on whether we are in Iraq or not. Until the Shiites run Iraq lock stock and barrel, Iran and Syria will be feeding and fomenting trouble in Iraq.This guy who is running Iran is nuts and he will be the cause of the escalation of the third world war ,of which we are in the beginning of now.He has told us his plans,he intends to wipe out America and Israel. Hitler told us his plans which we ignored,then he followed through on what he had told us.Are we getting any smarte?Nope but we are getting good at being politically correct.

I think we are comming very near the time when we will find out which rapture theory is correct.
