    Y'all need to stop picking on the poor girl. Give her a break! :laugh: I knew a guy who broke his leg in two places. He won't go near either one of them anymore.

    I'm sorry but there's a service charge for a second broken leg prayer if it happens within 27 years and 2 months of the first request.

    However, feel free to break a nail at any time.

    And no, you may NOT break your arm! (or arms)

    Hee hee! You have all "cracked" me up! Unfortunately, I have to go into surgery for my right leg now. Apparently I twisted my foot around trying to get into the tub, and now I have to have a plate put it. I should be practically bionic by the time this is done! I never did use the wheelchair, and we took it back last weekend. See you all soon, and thank you!

    I hate to tell you guys, but she's only broken her ankles. Her knees work just fine and casts are hard! When she does kick you, you all are gonna know it.


    It'll serve you right! :D

    Thank you so much, and welcome! Yes, I have two "moon boots" on now, so I'm Wonderwoman, at least from the knees down. I was so hoping to take the kids to the beach for the first time this summer, and it looks like we WILL be able to go, after all. DS said my boots were "cool". And an anonymous charity paid for my whole surgery. I read that letter every morning, it just makes me feel so good. Thank you, Jesus. I just knew You wouldn't let me down. No singing for right now, though. I don't have any breath control, and I'm out of practice. Thank God for the simple songs!

    My favorite name for God... anonymous

    If it were Shriners who gave the money then we'd say Shriners paid for the surgery.
    If it were XXX who paid for the surgery then we'd say XXX paid for the surgery.
    I like to think the Lord signs His name anonymous... :thumbs:

    Little ones to Him belong;
    They are weak, but He is strong.


    You ever think about those words?

    Glad things came together for good for ya... Now don't go starting on the arms or (god forbid) neck...

    And, YES, I do think about those words...I am far from a "little one", but oh-so-very-weak....and He is oh-so-very strong. :godisgood: :jesus:

    Well, here's the update. I no longer have to wear a boot on my left leg, and my right leg is getting better every day. Praise God! I can walk around the house without any boots or crutches, and I can run in the boots (but not for long; they are very heavy). I found this fact out by accident. DS was testing me the other day by saying, "No", one too many times. You should have seen his eyes when Momma got up and ran across the room! This area is having a singing contest July 3rd, and I've already picked a song. It's a secular song, but it takes a lot of physical strength to perform. It's something I'm going to have to build up to, but I think I can. Thank you for all the well wishes!
