    Hey, heres a novel idea...

    WATCH YOUR KIDS!

RIDICULOUS, that people go, "I just don't understand how they got pregnant. I sent her on a date with that boy for four hours alone in his car...how on earth did she get pregnant? I just don't understand...

It is EXTREMELY easy to keep your teen from getting pregnant, actually. Don't let them have s#x. Tell them (this is a bad word in the liberal's dialogue, I know...) NO.

Another absurd statement...you with them 24/7/365? Did your parents know everything you did?

Yep. They did. And I was sneaky. Good. Parents were better.

It just takes some involvement. Nothing angers me more than idiots that let their kids run around wherever they wish, and then bemoan the necessity of birth control. "Hey, let me give you this, just in case you decide to sin against your creator."

Nope, sickening. Watch your kids, and do not tolerate sin.

What is more important is that I know what My kids do. And it is not absurd for parents that are actually involved in the lives of their kids.

Or we teach our children - challenge them - to understand what sex is about, teach them the consequences of premature sex, and teach them that sex is worth waiting for. Just giving away birth control doesn't help the heart of the problem.

Oh - and condoms do not protect against all STDs at all although most kids don't know that because we give them half truths.

There was a news report the other night about parents allowing their teens to have sex in their house. "They are going to do it anyway and I'd rather it be under my own roof." is the explanation they give. I wonder if they feel the same way about drug use. Do they make sure their kids get the best drugs and safe drugs so that they don't get hurt? Maybe buy them clean needles? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Amen. It is sad to see this excused.

MP, it doesn't matter if I'm with my kids 24/7 as that's not the real issue. The issue is the government telling we the parents what can be injected into our children WITHOUT parental consent. I have a MAJOR problem with that. It's not the government's job to make sexuality-based decisions for my children. That MY job.
