Nice personal attack there, Poncho. My intellect isn't omnipotent. In fact, if you have read me before, you will know that when I don't comment on something, it is because 1) I am not interested or 2) I don't know anything about it. I limit my participation to things I am interested in and/or things I know something about. (Sometimes, I will post on something I am interested in to ask questions because I don't know anything about it.)

    This case meets neither qualification.

If I were like some others, I would point to the fact that this guy has an obviously Russian type of name, and therefore should be discounted as a globalist. [Edit: I just read page 2 and see that Poncho did call him a globalist. Man, am I good or what ... I saw that coming even before I read it. You are too predictable, Poncho. :D ) We could say he was in the government and therefore was required to make moral compromises.

If I were like some others, I would point out that this is lying and doesn't know what he is talking about. He is just a political hack like Joe Wilson, trying to cover himself and gain his fifteen minutes of fame.

But since I am not like some others, I will simply say, I don't know.

It does seem to me that this fellow is operating on assumptions and opinions. They seem more well-founded than most (given his background), but they are only assumptions and opinions. But from a purely rhetorical standpoint, his use of "imperial hubris" strikes me as an attempt to win an argument by inflammatory, accusatory words. If he is right, then he does not need to make those kinds of charges. Facts are not strengthened by name-calling and hyperbole. Why wouldn't he just let the facts stand on their own?

Pastor Larry always seems to back up his arguments with sound facts or Scripture. The only time I disagree with him is when the subject is George Bush, which kind of throws me at times since there is no doubt we are both conservative in thought.

Um, because he knows that nobody he was speaking to really cares about the facts as they're more interested in spinning some and hiding others in order to hold the party line than to present them all to the public and let them stand on their own without first being politically hacked?

I don't know what else to call a globalist, internationalist? How about one worlder? Traitor maybe? What do you call people that think America would be best served if it were "harmonized" into a socialist one world government by hook or crook?

it's likely that no one was even listening. A senate hearing is all about posturing, not about gaining information.

    Stupid.

Yeah that's what I was trying to say. I only listen to him because he's an insider and he knows how this stuff works because he helps plan it.

Well, they were smart enough to secure the highest offices in the world for themselves and get most of their agenda sneaked by the American people without to much fuss over it. If anyone is stupid it's us because for the most part we're all about posturing too. We keep thinking within the limits they set for us. Always thinking inside the box, that's us. There's rightie boxes and there's leftie boxes and any other way of thinking is taboo. Got to keep those barbarians from colluding, how better to do it than keeping them seperated in just two camps the lefties and the righties. The real trick is to keep the barbarians from figuring out that both camps are controlled by the same people at or very near the top. People like Brzezinski.

Yes I have read many of your posts.

And some times you seem to post on a subject you know little or nothing about just to call others silly, remind them they are intellectually inferior or liars for knowing more about a subject than you. Seems to be a common theme in many of your posts.

Sometimes it "seems" that way becaues you disagree with me, not because I know little or nothing about the subject. You tend to judge knowledge by agreement with you, rather than knowing the facts. I disagree with that conclusion. I have never reminded anyone that they are intellectually inferior. Some have told lies before. But it has never had to do with someone knowing more about a subject that I do. The truth is that I know my limitations and tend to stay in them. I don't draw outrageous or absurd conclusions about issues, particularly when I know nothing about them.
