Seeing all these comments one thing comes to mind. Many Americans have come from humble poor beginnings However, when we begin trusting in man more than God our opportunities become limited. He never said we would have no problems but He opens doors and shuts doors not society and how we react to those opportunities determines if we gain the most of what God has for us. Privilege comes by trusting in Christ for salvation and our trusting God to supply our needs according to His Riches in glory. Everyone has the same opportunity with God and everyone can say boo hoo that one has it better than me because of the color of their skin or events that happened over 175 years ago. That kind of attitude cuts God out of the equation and His blessings, If we do our best for Him His blessings are fully given. There is one race of people the human race, and that is what God sees.

There is indeed still a slavery of the Black American going on today, and that would be those holding to the mistaken belief that the Black Citizens are all under the slave mentality, that they cannot hope to succeed in life to to everything stacked against them...

Isn't it really telling that the traditional black family was MUCH better off before the Civl Right movement, in the areas of education/business/wealth, and family, as believe that the common norm was a mother and father in family unit, hard working, education scores were just as good if not actually better than "white culture", and that there were highly visile and prosperous black businesses?

What has happened to the Black family past 50 years or so here in America?
About 3/4 babies born to single mothers, fathers absent, and no responsibility to their kids, high violence and crime rates black on black crime, as much more likely to be killed by fellow black american than a white cop, educational scores down the tube, and genocide of the black population by Abortion...

the real slavery is that the spiritual/religious leaders within the black community hitch their buggy to the liberal democratic party way of things, and that as a direct result,they are blind guides leading their people to the slaughter...

thank God would open the eyes of our Black Christians to the truth that their following and promoting liberal agenda and causes are keeping them enslaved and 'still on the plantation"

near where i live is Detroit Mi, once the shing jewel among all cities, where BOTH whites and blacks lived, did business, and enjoyed prosperity...

past 40 years, the liberal agenda very nearly killed off that once grand city!

She has more churches per capita then any other large one in USA, but most of them are into either bad faith theoloy/social gospel/liberal causes, trying to rerach out to islamic centers, rather then teaching and holding to that "old time religion!"
