My comments are in bold print.

    A rather limited list.

    6. Lutheranism (not complete)
Beliefs: That Calvinist over emphasize God Sovereignty over man’s responsibility. That Christ died for all in legal sense, that some are predestined on to life but none are predestined onto death. That the sacraments are means of grace regardless of one’s faith. Proponents: Martin Luther, Philipp Melanchthon, Rod Rosenbladt, Augustine.

While Lutherans believe in unconditional election, they believe in resistible grace after salvation, i.e. one can forfeit his salvation after believing by stopping trusting in Christ.

Jacob Arminius was a classic Arminian and did not believe a Christian could lost his salvation.

Other categories are Classic Arminians (believes a Christian can forfeit, but not lose, his salvation) and Wesleyan Arminians (believes a Christian can lose his salvation)

It is obvious that Goundry is into Calvinism, but has not really looked into Arminian beliefs.

I wonder why no one has claimed to be Hyper-Calvinist. I appears to me that some here would qualify as such. and no, I don't mean this as an insult. If that is what someone believes, so be it. Maybe it's because it is the most extreme. People seldom like to consider themselves as the far end of most beliefs. We like to think we are the mainstream.

M.S. was an ultra-heretic. He didn't qualify for any of the categories of the OP. All of the categories of the OP were for Christians -- not those who deny cardinal doctrines such as the Trinity.

drfuss has brought up differences between Arminius and Wesley but with the belief system exactly as your author has written, I voted #8 Arminianism

Other - Sinner saved by grace - I'm sure of that, the other things I'm not to settled on. I have a high view of God and recognize that Salvation is 100% of the Lord, I agree with T, U, and P, but have some problems with the definitions of L and I. I enjoy reading "most" of the debates here about this issue and usually glean some useful insight.

No option here allows for a non linear model, so my vote would be "other". I do not adhere to calvinism, and I also do not believe God looks through time to see what will happen. He exists in all points of time at the same time.

I think they would all fall into Moderate to High. Spurgeon I believe is a moderate based on his sermon "Salvation by knowing the truth"

    Really? I do.

Perhaps you prefer to be called a biblicist? I know some calvinists who prefer to be called a biblicist. Either way, no matter what suit you put on you're the same underneith.

    This is me, too!!

I've been to a few of those "Calvin" meetings while on seminary campus---you know---they all congregate in someone's dorm room for Bible study and when its time to start--someone locks the door!!

Gotta lock the doors to study Bible---gracious---as if the skinheads are out there ready to pounce!!----rumor had it that if anyone was caught proclaiming their calvin ways---they were expelled!!! Imagine that!! Made what they were doing sound "tuff" though-----though I kinda figure if anyone were expelled they were expelled by "stealth"

Not brave enough to proclaim their truths on the steps of the seminary library or to infiltrate chapel programming with their "foundings"

Point #8 (as well as your admitted lack of active evangelism and evangelistic mission activity) moves you to the hyper-Calvinist category.

    Luke would be a high-Calvinist, not a hyper-Calvinist.

    Interesting, but no, thank you.
I refuse the label, no offense meant.
Most here in the board, including the out and out Calvinists, disagree with me on point 6.
    Don't you ?
