I want you to state your order of salvation and then support it scripturally. I hold the position
that the bible was created to communicate to us the the order of salvation in the hear and now and not in the eternal.

If you will reword the addressees I'll probably give mine.

I hold to the Doctrines of Grace, but am not a Calvinist.

Oye. You sensetive people. Very well. Would you please enlighten me as to what THEE order of salvation is.

What happened before Depravity and what was the order of events, processes and the like which caused dapraved--->saved to occur.

    Tatian,

I'm not sure what you're fishing for but I'll give it a try...

    1. Adam, our representative and father, sinned and and took on that sin nature - or total depravity.

    2. All Adam's children inherit that sin in their birth (the sin of our origins - or, original sin - or total depravity).

    3. Because of that sin nature in us, we sin. We sin because we are sinners - not we are sinners because we sin.

    4. Christ came as the second Adam to represent all those who would believe (not all *will* believe by the way).

    5. Those before Christ looked ahead to the promise and were saved by faith. Those after Christ look back to the fulfillment and are saved by faith. No one was ever saved by works. The law showed us our need for salvation - it did not give us a means to salvation...we could never obey it, before or after Christ.

    6. We are represnted by one or the other of the two Adams. By default to the first, by choice to the second. (By the way, we all believe one must choose - Calvinists just believe that the sin nature makes us unable to do so on our own.)
