I tried to approach this in a temperate and scriptural way. Here's the result:

What do you think, and why?

I agree with you on this. Christmas does make people think about Jesus. Even the Atheist.

Too many sub issues. Christmas as the Roman Catholic Christ Mass, no. As a remembrance of the birth of the Savior, it is an oppertunity to speak of God's Christ. It is not commanded. And there really nothing in the word of God that would prohibit using Christmas to speak of God's Christ.

Sorry, I didn't watch the half hour video.
But in answer to the question, Can Christians Celebrate Christmas? Yes, you'd better believe it--any day, every day. And if the world "just happens" to take note, why not take the opportunity to share the Gospel?

Christmas literally changed our historical calendar, dividing the eras into BC and AD.

And it's amazing to me how religious the Christmas holiday in America really is. Red and green everywhere (blood and life). Lights shining in the darkness. Secular radio stations blasting Jesus songs everywhere. Even Santa is based on a legendary Christian philanthropic Bishop, who was apparently a very zealous trinitarian.

We as Christians would be remiss to not use this for good. And we'd be plain dumb to not enjoy it.

Nope. It's just paganism wrapped up in pseudo Christianity and commercialism.

Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas is streaming free on Prime Video of you have it. Profound and hilarious. Speaks to this issue. Warning, might elicit spontaneous dancing. Enjoy!

Do I have to wait till Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ?... Do I have to wait till Easter to celebrate his life, death and resurrection?... Brethren, I celebrate his life's completeness everyday... I'm not a seasonal Christian, I'm an everyday one... Jesus is the reason for ALL seasons, not just one... Brother Glen:)

God knows how we're built, which is why He implemented holidays for the people of his nation. He's not saying you can't celebrate certain things all the time, he just knew it's easier to set times aside.

Either way, if someone refuses to celebrate the birth of Christ on Christmas, I doubt they'll do it any other time.

Baptists historically did not celebrate it due to its association w RCC Chrisrmas= Christs Mass. I think Spurgeon spoke against it

Everything changed about 1850 or so.

Spurgeon and other historical Baptists were confused about many things, just as we all are. They weren't inspired inerrant individuals. So it's kind of an irrelevant point. We should stick to Scripture when hashing out these issues.
