    CC78,

I agree with the first epistle of John 100%.

Do you think God controls us as robot, that we will never do a sin again once when after we received Christ?

Doesn't have to be neccessary for us to be required to confess our sin to Christ again in our life?

Can you dare being be perfect without commit one sin in the next one year from now?

    In Christ
    Rev. 22:20 -Amen!

Still waiting on an answer from you, CC78.
Are 'you' born again, born of God's Spirit? Have 'you' passed from death to life?

Christ is in you if you are born again. You are not of your self. There is a perfect man that is in you and that is Christ Jesus the Lord. Let me ask you Can you go out and commit adultery. I am talking to you yes or no. Can you go out and kill a man. Yes or no. Is God not able to make a man perfect. I am not talking about the flesh for NO flesh shall be justified in the sight of God. I am talking about the spirit. There is a thorn in the flesh that causes us to sin. But it is not a sin that we commit. Sin is condemed in the flesh.Ro 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. Ro 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good Ro 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Ro 7:18 For I know that IN ME (that is, in my FLESH,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Ro 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Ro 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Ro 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. Ro 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the INWARD MAN: Ro 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members Ro 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Ro 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. And when he said he that is born of God cannot sin he was talking about the inward man.2co 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our OUTWARD man perish, yet the INWARD man is renewed day by day. I don't think he controls us. I thank he love us 1jo 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not GRIEVOUS .

I believe I have. I love my brothers and my sisters very much and I love you to. I hope to see alot of people turn to the Lord but I know some will come short. Not because God has let them down but because they love this life more then they love him. God deserves all the glory. Thank you God for another day. amen

HP: Now we are getting somewhere. You are doing a lot better than at least one preacher I know with your expressed love toward me:smilewinkgrin:

Seriously, I can appreciate your answer. Thank you.

HP: You would be surprised at what goes on behind the scenes, man to man, and the attitudes expressed. You have to understand that so many churches are men’s occupations, and often the finances and buildings are controlled by them or their families. When you mess with anything, or dare even express an opinion contrary to the pastor’s own, he often sees your reluctance to swallow everything he says as a threat financially to him and to his families inheritance. (when the church property is wrested from the congregation and placed in the hands of the pastors family.) Even if they do not control the property, you are still a threat to his livelihood. Look out!

HP, I've been on church staff and seen first hand how human staff members (even the preachers ;) ) can be. It's just so terribly sad.

    Can God add?

Well, scripture says he can number the hairs on your head. I wonder if that was before a great number of them fell out and I don't know where they are now. Lord I miss those hairs!!!

HP: I seriously knew a man that rubbed his fingers nails together several times a day that had some nice peach fuzz growing where it was once bald.

HP: OK smarty. The real question is whether or not the total increases when He does add? :)

Is that a joke whose point I have missed? Surely you are not seriously suggesting that because the KJV/AV uses the word "malefactors" in Luke, and "thieves" in Matthew, there must have been 4 criminals crucified with Christ.

If it was a joke, I apologise for not getting it

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound
To save a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see

Why do we all argue about whether our salvation was predestined or not?

I'm saved and I'm glad I'm saved...Isn't that all that matters?

A lot more than 4 were crucified with Christ... for I was crucified with Christ also... as was every believer.

HP: If two are going to work together in the vineyard, they must agree at least on some basic ideas as to what is salvation, how should it be presented, and what instructions we should give to seekers and those that claim to be saved. Ones views on predestination greatly impact every area of theological thought necessary for the presentation of the gospel and the maintenance of the flock. It is not so much arguing about whether or not our salvation is predestined, but what does predestination entail and how does it affect the fulfilling of certain conditions God has said that without which no man shall see the Lord.

HP: I believe that calls for a new thread on the higher level thought of ‘Can God Multiply.’

Not only can He add, He can substract also and that is what man has to worry about.
