Mike BerzinsThis is a fundamental misunderstanding of God's method of preservation.

    Luke 21: 16-18
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

Many were burned at the stake for the word of God. Even their hair burned and so "perished". But this is not a contradiction of the scripture. When God resurrects them, he will give them a new body, with hair, and in the end not a hair of their head ultimately perished.

It's the same way with the preservation of Israel. The nation was gone for two thousand years, but God preserved it by way of resurrection, and now it is back.

Actually, the nation is JUDAH. The restoration of the resta Israel, the ten tribes which will be joined with judah to form one nation, is in the future, and hopefully the near future.

So it is with the preservation of God's word. There might be a time when God seems to have not preserved it from our vantage point, but in the end it is restored. When Moses broke the ten commandment, the word of God seemed to be lost, but God restored it.

The dry bones of Ezekiel, the pen knife in Jeremiah, the examples could be multiplied many times.

Then you must include the "resurrection" of some long-forgotten mss such as Sinaiticus & Vaticanus, the work of Westcott & Hort, and others in your "preservation by resurrection" theory or else be using a double standard.

Rom 10:9 (Geneva Bible, 1587 Edition):
For if thou shalt confesse with thy mouth
the Lord Iesus, and shalt beleeue in thine heart,
that God raised him vp from the dead, thou shalt be saued:

Here is the dynamic equivalent for my Deaf Friends:

If you will confess with your sign
that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your
heart that God raised Him up from the Dead,
    Then you shall be saved.

Here is the dynamic equivalent for my Computer
    Nerd Friends:

If you will post on the Bulletin Board
that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your
    heart that God raised Him up from the Dead;
    then you shall be saved.

The definition of Mistransaltion: it is the act of the devil using people (rather they know about it or not) to corrupt the Word of GOD!

Can there be mistranslations in GOD's Holy Word?

If you answer is "YES", then you have said by logic that you believe that the devil has corrupted it.

Did the devil corrupt your spelling of 'mistranslation' above?

Define 'mistranslation'. Some would say if it does not square 100% with the KJV, it is a mistranslation and therefore a corruption. After all, only ONE can be right!

    I do not believe that.

FTR, the definition of "mistranslation" is 'the act, or an instance of mistranslating'.

"Mistranslate" is defined as 'to translate incorrectly'.

The added baggage AAA is attempting to impose is not found in my dictionary.

An' it are a Webster's Ko-leg-eye-ate Dikshunary, so I know's it am right, bein's I are a Kolidge Gradgeuate, my Self!
