Is that anything the Bible charts out-not just how God acts or says, but Why? Can we assoiate any sort of 'person' with God?

If one believes in the Trinity, one would find that each of the Three express certain attributes of the Godhead more than the others.

In the Old Testament all people knew was the Holy and Just Father who punnished sin and rewarded obedience to the Mosaic Law.

In the New testament people were introduced to God the Son who expressed God's love for mankind and obedience to the law.

After Jesus arose, people learned more about the Holy Spirit.

A person like God the Father would be a father who created a law and always kept his word to it.

A person like God the Son would be a person who loves everyone no matter what they did to him and always obeys his father and the law.

A person like the Holy Spirit would be a person who is eager to spread the Gospel to everyone he can and convict them regardless of being persecuted.

One may have met people similar to these descriptions. Just picture these people only maxed out perfect (yeah right) and you have the Trinity. Picture all three wrapped into one person and you have God. As simple as that, right? Not! But just something to chew on. :godisgood:
