Capital Hill office spat over a flag and a sign

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who was elected in November, posted a video Wednesday of her hanging a sign, which reads “There are TWO genders: Male & Female, Trust the science.” Most outlets have reported this as Greene initiating a conflict (related to the Equality Act) with Rep. Marie Newman, who has a “transgender daughter” (which I think means she has a son who says he is a woman). However, it was Newman who fired the initial salvo, saying she put up “our Transgender flag so she [Greene] can look at it every time she opens her door.”
