Yup. A bone-headed error, some pretty good defense from the most unlikely duo on earth, Ramirez and Ortiz, and of course, an excellent outing by Pedro, who retired the last 14 batters in a row, in his first ever world series start.

The Cardinals look like a deer in headlights.

I said it before, I'll say it again: the Sox got heart!
They're playing like scrapping little boys having the time of their lives.
Plus, I'd hate to have to see Schilling pitch again in his condition, even though I know he'd do it.
    GO SOX!!!!!!!

Can you BELIEVE it! One more game and they win! Everyone said they'd never win four in a row against the Yankees and now three in a row vs the Cardinals! Go Red Sox! I'm impressed! Who's your daddy?

What are you guyz? Cub fans?

They seem to be about the only ones who harbor a vast dislike for the Redbirds.

Oh I don't dislike the Cardinals as much as I like the Red Sox! I love to see the underdog win!

    3-zip in the 3rd with 2 outs.

    Go Red Sox!!

Boy, Scott Stapp really loves himself, and gives himself great glory. That was rediculous.

Well they said it couldn't be done! It's been a LONG time since 1918... but they did it!

Does anyone really believe in a real "curse"? I think not.

Think they finally put together the pitching needed to support the power and won.

I believe in the curse. Why? Simple. If somebody tells you enough that you are cursed and can't win, you will be so demoralized that you won't play as well as you could and you end up actually proving the guy right. It's rather indirect but I think it's true.

The reason the Sox finally won is because they finally managed to put Babe Ruth, Bill Buckner, and Aaron Boone all behind them and played like they deserved to win as much as any other team.

No. I'm a Pirates fan! DOWN WITH THE BREWERS! :D :D

Oh, I'm also an Astros fan. THERE'S a reason not to like the Cardinals. [IMG]

BTW, I saw a guy at one of the games that was wearing a Cubs jersey and a Cardinals hat. I guess he's having a hard time making up his mind. :D

Dunno about you guys, but I'm an Angels fan. I've already got my deposit in for 2005 season tix. Woohoo.

Of course, being an Angels fan, I root for any team that wears red. This World Series was extremely schizophrenic for me!!!

The poll ended up 50 - 50. That means half of us were wrong.

Unfortunatly I was one of the half that was wrong.

Did I hear this correctly? I think I heard that they were going to raise the World Series Championship banner at Fenway Stadium next year at their first home game against the New York Yankees. Man, won't that be a charge?

I saw on the telly while I back over there that they are giving out the World Series rings at that game as well.
