So, you believe that Carter is a Christian too?

I've listened to Adrian Rogers for years and know of his love for Truth. I can't say I've ever heard or seen any evidence that has convinced me of Carter's love of Christ.

Absolutely. Liberal in his beliefs? No doubt. Compromising on fundamental aspects? You bet. But not a Christian? I have no doubt he was a Christian.
And he's given them one. I respect that a lot more than I respect Pat Robertson who makes a stupid comment, and then denies it until he's forced to backpeddle. For Jimmy Carter to act like a politician, one expects. But for Robertson, oh wait, he tried to run for POTUS. Nevermind.

Pat Robertson has nothing to do with this thread. Please stay on topic without hijacking it, or it will be closed.

I don't know anything about what Adrian Rogers might or might not have said to Jimmy Carter. I have read Jimmy Carter's own books expounding his "Faith" and he is a left wing modernist in doctrine.

No disrespect intended, LE, but it's not a hijack attempt. The Pat Robertson comment was relative to the thread. It would only be a hijack if comments from thereon out were about Robertson sans regard to the OP, and I would likewise discourage such a hijack.

John, the former President might not want to be put in the was category just yet! [IMG]

According to the thread title, President Carter owes the Rogers family an apology. According to the article, he gave one.

Whether he continues to use the "apologized for" story in the future will demonstrate his sincerity or lack thereof.
