Alatide, you are incredible. Plenty of white southern men voted for Obama. Here is a photo of one.

Carter didn't say "opposition in the south" is based on racial hatred. Carter said opposition to Obama's health care proposal is "overwhelmingly" based on opposition to his race. Carter is saying the whole country is full of racists; north, south, east and west....because anyone who opposes Obama must be a ractist.

Race baiting, plain and simple, cut and dry. It was below the dignity of the presidency.

Any American not blinded by partisan politics will see it for what it is.

    peace to you:praying:

Yes, that's me, I figured I'd dress up for the occasion. He's a nice guy, gave me a four thousand dollar check for my pickup truck, I went down and bought a smart car. Don't laugh, it's got a lot of headroom. I had a couple tires from the pickup, couldn't see no sense in 'em going to waste, so me and Billy Bob hooked 'em up to the smart car.

He's really not so bad, we have a lot in common, he wants to take over the country just like us. And he is half white.

You made the accusation. Now back it up. Fact is, I haven't poured out any hatred. I've have spoken the truth and you just can't take it. The truth hurts.

When you get banned for a fourth time, will you sneak back in here under still another alias?

Maybe one who habitually deceives isn't the best authority to be pointing out the sins of others...

Just so you'll know, it's all my posts, ever, on the BB. They're all worthwhile. Profound, brilliant, and quoteworthy, too.

I would look yours up, but you've had so many incarnations here, the number of links found keep crashing my computer.

I agree, his comment toned down the outrageous behavior of the elected officials on the right so that now the rhetoric is coming only from the blogs and talk shows. He brought a lot of civility to the Hill with his comment and I don't know if it was intentional or pre-planned but the outrageous attacks from elected officials have subsided. It is almost as if the elected officials realize their boisterous, bigoted base on the far right is not sufficient to elect a dog catcher in any but southern states and unless they plan to be in perpetual exile they need to disassociate themselves from that part of the base.

Now look what we see, McCain and Pawlenty congratulated the President on his prize and Lindsey Graham rebuked the rhetoric. Way to go Carter!!!

Once again, we get called "bigots", because we don't agree.

And from a preacher, no less.

    Let's remember, class...you can't disagree with Obama unless you're a racist.

You heard it from Jimbo, and from LeBuick.

Suppose you lived in one of the African countries in which white people represented say 10% of the population and a white person had never been the head of the government. Then an articulate capable white person ran for office. Wouldn't you tend to vote for him so you could feel that you were now represented in the government? There was a lot of pride shown by black Americans in the victory of President Obama. Justifiably.

Take a look at the personal history of Obama's wife's family with regard to slavery. It's been on the internet recently.

By the way, the most raciest place I've been is Chicago.

LeBuick, to insinuate racism is nothing but a ploy. And, that my friend make you a race baiter. Race baiters can't open their mouth without yelling "racist" or at least insinuating it. It's hitting below the belt and un-Christian. Shame on you!!!!!

This is a family board - so let's keep it clean.

Your command of the English language - both reading comprehension and composition is abysmal.

I swear I get stupider just reading your posts. :tongue3:

He should be called out. It's disgusting and ungodly and speaks volumes as to his true character.
