    Not so. Charles Spurgeon's beliefs are, as Hunt said, unequivocal - they are unequivocally the opposite of what Hunt says. I have read Spurgeon. I became a Calvinist in large part because I was persuaded by Spurgeon's sermons.

    Hunt is in error, and he will not admit it.

    If you're going to 'debate' Catholicism, the best way is to read THEIR sources. Some have suggested the Cathechism, which is a good idea. One THICK book, rather-well documented, is called "Not by faith alone," by Robert Sungenis. A Roman Catholic apologist, this is one of the best I've read. Don't always trust what 'somebody else' says about another denomination/group/cult, read the original sources first. ;)

    Well Helen,
    I simply am weary of Hunt for his attack on Spurgeon and Calvinism. Also, he simply gives me the impression of being a "noodle-head."
