    Cato Senior Fellow, Jerry Taylor, provides readers with free market solutions for bringing the price of gas down here. Interestinly, his four step solution does not include a temporary suspension of federal taxation but is focused intead on deregulating the way oil is produced and opening up more lands for drilling. Good stuff!

    The hypocrisy of telling other nations to pollute their environemnts while preserving ours doesn't reconcile with the global focus that has become so chic in Washington, especially on envrionmental issues.

    And this very fat forces one to ask "Is environmentalism the actual goal, or is it a means to meet the end?

    If it were the actual goal then it seems there would be more consistancy on the issue.
