    Alabaster Box
    by Winans Ce Ce

    The room grew still
As she made her way to Jesus
    She stumbled through the tears
    That made her blind
    She felt such pain
    Some spoke in anger
    Heard folks whisper
There's no place here for her kind
    Still on she came
Through the shame that flushed her face
Until at last she knelt before his feet
And though she spoke no words
    Everything she said was heard
As she poured her love for the master
    From her box of Alabaster

    Chorus
    And I've come to pour
My praise on Him like oil
    From Mary's Alabaster Box
Don't be angry if I wash His feet with my tears
And I dry them with my hair
You weren't there the night He found me
You did not feel what I felt
When He wrapped His loving arms around me
And you don't know the cost
Of the oil in my Alabaster box

I can't forget the way life used to be
I was a prisoner to the sin that had me bound
    And I spent my days
    Poured my life without measure
    Into a little treasure box
    I thought I found
Until the day when Jesus came to me
And healed my soul with the wonder of His touch
So now I'm giving back to Him
All the praise He's worthy of
I've been forgiven and that's why
    I love Him so much

    Chorus
    And I've come to pour
My praise on Him like oil
    From Mary's Alabaster Box
Don't be angry if I wash His feet with my tears
And I dry them with my hair
You weren't there the night He found me
You did not feel what I felt
When He wrapped His loving arms around me
And you don't know the cost
Of the oil in my Alabaster box

    DEFINITLY The band DISCIPLE

MOst all the songs i heard like "God OF Elijah" speak about passages in the bible or stories from it. All the songs of there new cd "Back Again" are comprised of lyrics that give a reference to them after certain parts of each lyric. i think its amazing.

They have been mentioned already but would highly reccomend in the following order:

    1. Anything by Michael Card (especially "The Life" and the Old Testament trilogy, "The Beginning", "The Way of Wisdom" and "The Word")

    2. Anything by Steve Green

    3. Steve Camp

EVER WALK WITH ME LORD Micah 6:6-8
    Peter Mayer

    Refrain
    Ever walk with me Lord
Each night and day a rejoicing
With kindness the harmony, justice the beat
You’ve turned my footsteps to dancing
Oh Ever walk with me Lord

How can I come before You?
What worthy gift could I bring?
What glorious feast could I offer?
    What songs of majesty sing?
Lift this heart of sadness into gladness by Your peace
Before I can come before You, You come to me

    Refrain
    Ever walk with me Lord
Each night and day a rejoicing
With kindness the harmony, justice the beat
You’ve turned my footsteps to dancing
Oh Ever walk with me Lord

In my work I grow weary
Lost on this road of desires
Where is the path that leads homeward?
To bring me back to Your fire
Lift these eyes of sadness into gladness at Your peace
I am lost and weary, come shepherd me

    Refrain
    Ever walk with me Lord
Each night and day a rejoicing
With kindness the harmony, justice the beat
You’ve turned my footsteps to dancing
Oh Ever walk with me Lord

    A million voices surround me
How can I hear when You call?
When at last grace has found me
Will I recognize it at all?
Lift this song of sadness into gladness at Your feast
To hear Your voice is calling, come walk with me

    Refrain
    Ever walk with me Lord
Each night and day a rejoicing
With kindness the harmony, justice the beat
You’ve turned my footsteps to dancing
Oh Ever walk with me Lord

I'm listening to an old Jacob's TRouble CD and came across this one. I haven't heard this in a long, long time.
    It's based on 2 Timothy 2:3-4 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3

"Church of Do What You Want To"

Are you tired of religion that only seems to bring you down?
Cramping your lifestyle like a certain thorny crown?
Are you sick of being told that you can't make it on your own?
If that's your case, I've got a place that you can call a home!
    (Chorus:)
It's the Church Of Do What You Want To
The Church Of Do What You Please
The Church Of Do What Feels Good Baby
And Believe What You Want To Believe
    1:
No absolutes, no wrong or right
    Just ambiguities

Well, we don't believe in Heaven and we WON'T believe in Hell
We threw away the Bible and the sacraments as well
Jesus is just alright with us, just as long as you don't try
To make Him out as more than just an ordinary guy

    (Repeat chorus)
    2:
No absolute, no wrong or right, just vague philosophy
At The Church Of Do What You Want To
The Church Of Do What You Please

    [bridge][spoken]
Ah, ah, ah, I know something's wrong
Something once was here, but now it's gone

Turn in your hymnals to hymn number one
It ain't "Holy, Holy, Holy" -- it's "Fun, Fun, Fun"
Don't need a Savior 'cause we got no flaws
    They ain't sins no more
They're more like spiritual faux pas

Ah, ah, ah, I know something's wrong
But frankly, I am having too much fun!

At The Church Of Do What You Want To...
