And I challenge you right back to find where I said you did.

I take personal attacks against me personally, yes.

"And you also seem to enjoy bashing those who don't support yopur liberal views."

Did I misunderstand and that "you" was not me? If so, your syntax really needs work. If not, then your "Sorry" was a slap in the face.

Are you going to say that the Catholic Church is the Beast and/or that the Pope is the anti-Christ?

And I challenge you to find where I have bashed a single catholic.

And I challenge you right back to find where I said you did.

    Posted by Daisy, yesterday....

That's no reason to BASH Catholics AND that does not mean that the RCC is the beast nor that the Pope is the anti-Christ.

That was easy. You DID accuse me of bashing Catholics, now didn't you ?

I think you allready know my thoughts on the RCC. Everyone else on this board does. But you dodge those questions well. And you are gifted in words, I'm not. You did just about accuse me of lying about my work with children, but you worded that pretty carefully, didn't you ?

Also, I have NEVER personally attacked you. If you don't like what I say about the RCC, that is your problem.

The pope cannot yet be the antichrist. The bible says the antichrist will be a relatively young man. But I DO believe the antichrist will sit in Rome, in the pope's seat. I base that on scripture.

Now, do you deny any similarites ? Do you know what the Bible says about the beast, or the antichrist ?

You accused the whole thread of Catholic bashing here.

I did say we could stick to it, but the only Catholic I'll single out for bashing is the pope, and it's his office, or title, if you wish, that I'm against. I never met the pope, so I don't know if I would be friendly with him, or not. But I do know he calls himself the Vicar of Christ, which is a lie. I know he tells the world that the fullness of salvation can only be enjoyed & experienced in his church. Another lie. I know he tells people that they can enjoy a closer relationship with God by offering prayer to Mary. A lie. I hate the RCC. I hate what they represent. I hate the lies they told me as a youth.

Any questions about how I feel ?

Curtis, saying that something is "no reason to bash", is NOT accusing you personally of bashing. It was, in fact, in reply to your statement "We can stick to Catholic bashing, if you wish. There's plenty of ammo..... "

Now, what does "we can stick to Catholic bashing" imply, other than Catholic bashing is occurring? How can anyone "stick to" something unless that something is there to be stuck to?

So, the answer to your question, "That was easy. You DID accuse me of bashing Catholics, now didn't you ?" is no, not only did I not pay attention before as to who made which statement (oh, shame on me), but I was mainly referring to the flash thing itself and Hyperspace's "Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area"

You did, however, get it right the second (or third, it's too tedious to go back and count your accusations) time when you remarked, "You accused the whole thread of Catholic bashing here". That is correct, I did.

Since you evidently object to the term "Catholic bashing", I'll rephrase: Discussions that and why the RCC went horribly wrong probably belongs in the "Other Religions" section rather than "Current Events" as the "events" in question are mostly historical and future when not purely imaginary. Discussing the wrong-headedness of using numerology to decipher Scriptures is also better suited for "Other Religions / Doctrines", IMHO, or even "Humor".

You still owe me an apology for your personal attack on me. That was uncivil and uncalled for. Attack ideas, not people (Bush, Cheney excepted, of course).

Look Daisy, I'm really not willing to turn this thread into a who said what thing. You do not moderate this board, as far as I know, so you really don't have any authority to tell us where thrreads belong.

And I'll not be apologising anytime soon.

Now, do you want to talk about your knowledge/opinions of the antichrist ?

Look, Curtis, you already did turn this thread into a who said what thing. Since you attacked and accused me, quite without justification, I will answer.

Hyperspace said, and I repeat once again since you haven't got it into your noggin yet, "Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area." My reply was to that, if it is any of your business, and not to you. Now are you claiming authority to tell me what I may or may not reply to?

You still owe me an apology for that, whether you care to pay or not. [IMG]

Also, after you are done with your views on the Antichrist, I would dearly like to hear you tell me how you came to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. Maybe you could put it in the general discussions forum.

If I wanted to discuss religion, I would do so in the "Other Religions/Doctrines".

Mostly I just lurk there so as to learn from others.

I'm going to go out on a limb, and say you don't give the Antichrist, or any other biblical matter, much thought at all.

It would be nice to see you talk about Christ with the same fire you use to discuss politics and current events. If you are saved, then why not ever discuss that ?

    That's just me.....

It's fair to suppose that I don't think about the AntiChrist as much as you do, but wrong to say that I don't think about biblical matters much at all.

It's fun to argue about politics, but I don't consider religion to be a sport.

Face it, I don't talk much about personal matters. Would you have guessed by my posts that earlier this year, I discovered the dead body of a beloved relative covered, on one side, with black, clotted - but still wet - blood...the image still haunts me...I don't like to talk about personal matters.

Arguing politics is a diversion. My religion is personal.

So back to the subject. I have thought long and hard about the antichrist. I have studied Revelations, compared it with Daniel and Ezekiel. There are just too many similarities in those words of wanrning, and what the RCC appears to be. So I fully believe the pope's seat will be the throne of the antichrist, and Rome will be his home. Someday when you feel more open to discussion about Christian matters, I'll share some of what lead me to these thoughts.

    Let's hope that never happens.

There is enough ignorant nonsense floating around this board to last us untill Judgement Day as it is.

 Thanx for yet another cop-out.

Are you saved, Daisy ? Can you tell me where you will spend eternity ? Have you accepted Christ's sacrifice as your only means of redemption before allmighty God ?

Or do you just come here to save us from our ignorance ?

BTW, your "I never attack anybody personally" is hogwash. In one statement, you attack a whole board. If it's so ignorant, then why waste your time here ?

Maybe you should stick with politics, Daisy. You demonstrate very little knowledge of Christianity, with your refusal to discuss such matters. I'm calling you out. I do not believe you are a Christian, and am asking for you to prove me wrong. A simple statement of faith should do it.

Golly, Bro, maybe you should check to see who posted what before you launch such a nasty, nasty tirade.

I am not going to try to edit out all of the flagrant violations of multiple Posting Rules and the Users Agreement. I am immediately closeing this thread and will transfer it to the Archives in the morning San Francisco time.

Be advised, publicly questioning another member's salvation is considered "unsportsman like conduct" and will be dealt with accordingly by the Mods and Admins.
