    Before you/they die?

    I was just told of my mom's long distance best friend, ever since I was a kid my mom would get on the phone with this lady and just laugh and laugh, this went on for 60 years until my mom passed, but I've heard she is quite the character. Anyway, I was told she a had huge celebration of life party given by her daughters for her because she wanted to be able to attend it.

    Seems kind of strange and I never heard of this before but it kinda actually makes some sense, sounds like more fun - I mean, celebrate with them before they go, why not?
