This all goes "hand in glove" with "Liberation Theology" -- Jeremiah Wright's forte'. And therein lies the explanation for Obama's 20 years association with Wright!

Again, I go back to Wright's interview when he asked Sean Hannity 3 times, "Do you know what liberation theology is?" Sean didn't and Jeremiah was "thumbing his nose" at Sean.

"Liberation theology" is Marxism adapted to religion. It calls for a socialist agenda of pulling the "proletariat" into the politics on the side of government control. It was especially deployed and effective in Latin and South America in the 70's through the Catholic Church. Many socialist candidates there were beneficiaries of the vote that was "bought" by the promises of wealth and power transfer to the lower class (as we see also being offered to the "middle class" now). Socialist societies ensued such as Daniel Ortega's in Nicaragua and, more recently, Chavez's in Venezuela.

    Good article, reg.

This supports your point........”"Liberation theology" is Marxism”

This piece of legislation, being pushed through by the Dem’s is being held back, until after the election, because they know that Bush will veto it.

But Obama has already said, that he will sign it.

Liberation theology was also employed in the Asian countries in the early 70's, among its chief proponent a Jesuit priest named Blanco, if I recall correctly, who was said to be responsible for agitating hundreds of Indonesian youth against the government of then President Sukarno resulting in their slaughter on the streets of Jakarta.
Liberation theology was also the doctrine of priests and pastors (mostly from the Protestants) who were in the ranks of the armed struggle against the US-Marcos tandem who were in turn employing what was called the Low Intensity Conflict system.
If Obama is truly a disciple of Liberation Theology then Mc'Cain shouldn't be worried about being accused of "throwing dirt" and backpedalling to show himself a gentleman.
His goal should be not only to expose whatever weaknesses his analysts see in Obama's platform, but to expose where in that platform he can insert his dogmas, and to document and solidly connect Obama's connections to Liberation Theology above and beyond reasonable doubt.
By going soft on Obama, assuming he knows about the man's ties to Liberation Theology (assuming also that this is true), then he is doing this country he once served with honor and distinction, a disservice at this late stage in his life.

I can guess what these people would have said about Patrick Henry. A traitor to the Crown. Seditious. Dangerous. Espouses something called FREEDOM. We must KILL him and all of his kind.

He cannot help himself since he has no idea what freedom is about. He wants to bring this country farther from freedom by placing us all under a heavy tax load that removes freedom and gives the Feds more power and control over our lives. He is willing to be subservient to that power and control. Thus his history is skewed and based on communist revisionism. In short he just doesn't know any better.
