I have always wondered why Christians say that Christians may be soldiers in war in order to defend others. Yet, none take up arms to defend these little ones. Smacks of hypocrisy to me.

 

To all who read this thread:

Life and Liberty Ministries is not an organization that we should be lending an ear to. They are developeing a reputation for harrassment and incivility. Recently, they engaged in harrassment of college students and disruption of the learning environment, and were not forthcoming when asked about it here on this board.

While we are all in agreement here on the topic of abortion, we should not associate ourselves with those who lack credibility. I believe L&L ministries to be dishonest and disingenuous in their representations. Even their website lacks objectivity (note that their "news release" contains the phrsase "bogus disorderly conduct charges"). We should refrain from aligning ourselves with a "ministry" that is so poor of a Christian witness, and should refrain from giving this group any more attention.

The charges were bogus, that's why they were dropped. I see nothing wrong with this ministry. And this is great news.

Unfortunatly in this world the majority does rule. Mt. 7:13-14.

In the case of L&L, I personally know the girls whom L&L harrassed. L&L blatantly harrassed the pro-life Christian college students, telling them they were going to hell. L&L denies it, of course.

 

So it's the college kids word against theirs, so you will call L&L liars and try to discredit them on every one of their threads. That sounds like the Christian thing to do. I have seen video tapes of some of the events that L&L and Michael Marcavage have participated it, and even though they were accused of causing a disturbance, the video tapes proved otherwise.

 

Admonishing someone in proper righteousness is appropriate for the Christian. I don't disagree with L&L's motive. I do, however, take serious issue with their methods.

 

You know what, Johnv...sometimes I think you take serious issue with anything that disagrees with your idea of right, lol.

We have several towns that we go to and in every single one of them, the cops and so-called christians have harassed us. Our preachers have been arrested, the women (including myself) and children have been threatened, shoved, kicked, spit upon, slapped, pushed down on the cement and even more serious - projectiles.

It's the christians with the "fish symbol" who cuss us out the most and others delight in showing us the number of their IQ with their middle finger.

Thank the LORD for video footage, which does not lie. Allow me to repeat it again - America has become tolerant of everyone EXCEPT Bible-believing Christians!

 

The problem is that you think everyone who is not in agreement with you is not a bible believing Christian. Look at your own tone. It's the bible-believing Christian who are holding groups like you accountable. Where is the problem with that? I'm not saying that you going through what you've gone through is warranted, but you have somewhere along the line gotten this idea that your actions annd attitude are above reproach. Do you truly think that your own actions in ministry have never been suspect? On another thread, you implied that contrails in the sky was evidence that the government was spying on you.

If what I said about L&L at W&M college was correct and accurate, would you agree that L&L should be admonished? No. You will not. You will bend over backwards to excuse their behavior. I will not. All Christians need to be above reproach, and we Christians need to hold ourselves accountable. There seems to be this idea that when it comes to abortion demonstrations, it's all of a sudden okay for Christians to remain above reproach.

 

Please - show me this. What I have said before is that CHEMtrails are making us sick and/or is messing with the weather.

 

I revise my statement: On another thread, you said that contrails in the sky, which you alleged were chemtrails, was evidence that the government was targeting you, either to make you sick or mess with the weather.

I can understand anyone standing for what they think is right, but why put the children in harms way.

I would not want my children or grandchildren threatened, shoved, kicked, spit upon, slapped, pushed down on the cement.

 

It happens everyday in the government schools.

 

Parents and grandparents involvement in the public schools can help PREVENT placing children in harms way while parents and grandparents involvement in street demonstrations may CAUSE children to be placed in harms way.

 

Why in the world would the government want to make EVERYBODY sick!! Surely the Government would like its own kids!!
