Charity vs preaching

I have come to a point in my life where I believe that preaching on street corners does more damage than good. I believe that men will not or can not accept a truth they do not seek. What I have noticed is the power of charity. When people help people it has a profound affect on the recipient. I would love to see more churches working within their local communities to help people.
