    What's the difference?

Does God really make a distinction between sexual perversion and the perversion of His word?

Nope you're just starting to hear things. 85% of TBN is just as bad as Stern. False Teachings is no diff. than sexual perversions.

I will never stop trying to point out false teachings.

I don't know what you mean by false teachings but , What is going to be your strategy.
Do you plan on body slamming someone? Since you don't watch TBN ,it is likely that you watch wrestling!!!

</font>[/QUOTE]Yes, I do think you can compare the two.

I don't see the moral difference between sexual perversion and the perversion of God's word.

I don't see why a Christian would watch TBN at all, considering what the Bible tells us about false teachers.

    1. I used to be caught up in the WoF cult.

    2. Because I want to be aware of what the WoF heretics are teaching. I'm in contact with people every day who are still caught up in this mess and I want to be aware of what's going on.

Just so you know, I also helped to lead an effort to have Comcast drop TBN in our area and they did for a while.

Why do you want to keep up with TBN if you think they are as bad as Howard Stern? That is a serious accusation by th way.
Did TBn stay off Comcast? Why or Why not?

I did but I think you're smart enough to know what I meant, right?

    [qb]
    I've already addressed this.

Yes, it is and I've told you twice now why I believe that it's an appropriate one.

No, I didn't because Comcast has no say in the matter.

TBN is a network. Howard Stern's show is a show on a network.

I don't believe you really have any influence with comcast as to wheither they run TBN or not!
I am glade that I have TBn on the dish network and on the cable stations that are in motels as I travel. I will keep watching TBN while you watch whatever you watch.

One does not have to have influence to relay their requests the cable company. Most cable companies respect your opinion, but offer a variety of programming for a variety of customers. I like ABC, you like NBC...

I watch TBN for a variety of reasons.

    1. Sometimes its a good laugh. Jessie Duplantis is really a comedian who has a stand up preacher act.
    2. I like to see what false teaching is being spewed forth.
    3. And unfortunately there are some solid Bible preachers who air their ministry on the network so I have to watch TBN if I'm gonna hearr them.

The problem with TBN is it mixes false teaching with sound teaching. The average joe out there doesnt' know the difference. He thinks its all good. Why? Well for one reason even the sound ministries on the network would never say a critical word about ole Jan and Paul. Who by the way their combined salaries are close to if not over 1 million a year. They have one of the worst finacial records of any non-profit org. All the info can be found at that watchdog website. I forget the name.

And I will keep warning people about false teachings.
