TBN is just a rehashing of old quaker heresies. They are the largest privately held multimedia company in the world. His public accounting records show TBN is worth 5 billion (coincidently the same value of the temple at the time of Jesus). Tbn teaches many heresies like....christian are little gods or messiahs.......God wants you rich(1Tim6:5)....God is a tri-trinity(1Jn5:7)......God wants you happy (Ps51:17). Paul crouch has said that theology is DOO-DOO(2Tim4:3). and that's just the start. i could literally write a book on that station and their heresies, including Jesse Duplantis, marilyn hickey, joyce meyer, jack van impe, hal lindsey (who forgets he prophicied that Jesus would return in 1981, oops 1988, oops)Benny hinn (Jesus would personally and bodily appear on stage with him in narboi,Kenya, Jesus didn't show)kenneth copeland, robert shuller, jan and paul crouch (who live in seprate houses),mark chirrona, and anyone else who preaches on ptl(remember tammie faye and jim baker). When watching TBN one needs to be a dilligent Berean (i was born in Berea)and search out the scriptures and see if what they are saying is true. and promises made to the isrealites durring their wandering do not apply to use, those promises are fulfilled. God promises are complete and closed from that time unless specifically stated in Scripture

    thankyou and God Bless

The TBN will continue to flourish as long as the Lord allows it to. When He decides "that's enough," that'll be the end of the Crouch's empire.

Mr. Billingsley should have stayed with Newsong. He was great as a team player, but as a solo act, he's only average.

I didn't know Paul and Jan lived in seperate houses? Maybe there is something to the rumor that Paul Crouch is a homosexual? I'm not saying it I just read about it.

Billingsley seems like a showboat to me.JMHO. I saw him just the other night providing special music for "Praise the Lord" Los Angeles. He must truly be their boy now.

Well, I teach Sunday School, as well as a new believer's class.

As such, I, along with others who are put into these positions, am held accountable for what I teach.

So far, no one has brought anything to my attention.

If there's something that you feel that I've taught that doesn't line up with scripture, then please feel free to bring it to my attention.

If you would like to get an interested third party here on baptistboard and have them mediate, that would be fine, too.

When I first got saved, my friends would not let me get books out of the church library unless they approved of them or watch TBN unless we discussed what I saw. I took in everything I read or heard like a sponge and it wasn't always a good thing. lol

    I miss friends like that...

Neither Falwell nor Jeremiah has a history of calling people on false doctrine or disobedience to Scripture. That is not a valid criterion. The question is, Was Billingsley disobedient went he went to sing for people who are shameless money seekers, who embrace false doctrine, and who make merchandise out of God's people? The unequivocal answer must be Yes. How can there be any debate about it? </font>[/QUOTE]Another Amen.

I agree KJ...David Jeremiah is a "good" preacher....but sometimes even the best preachers can be overcome with an alarming lack of biblical discernment.Jack Van Impe USED to be arrow straight....but look at him now.The same could be said of Billy Graham in his early ministry...and now even formerly staunch Fundementalists like Jerry Falwell are caving in to the culture. The "church" is supposed to be "in the world but not of the world"....and I think it is not wrong to add...that we are not supposed to be LIKE the world. We are supposed to "come out from among them, and be ye seperate."The church of Jesus Christ MUST NOT cave in to this godless culture. You can't win the world to the Lord by being like the world.

BTW, I don't even know Billingsley, can't even picture him ... The point is it doesn't matter. It's not about him, whoever he is, it's about God's Word.
