    This is error in several ways.Stanley presents a mixed teaching because he is not firmly grounded in his belief system.

    Maybe this isn't going to solve this round-and-round statement(s) on Charles Stanley, but I've heard that Pastor Stanley has resigned as pastor of FBChurch Altanta. I don't know if that is true or not. Does anyone have any info on this matter?

    If I remember correctly, when his wife divorced him - he was willing to step down, but the Church insisted he stay.
    Some left - including his son, Andy.

    and BTW - Charles grew up in the Pentecostal Holiness denomination. When he was doing a 3 week radio series on eternal security -
    he recalled how he was so afraid of sinning and loosing his salvation. He was so relieved when he realized that eternal security was the Biblical teaching

    I still listen to and/or watch Charles Stanley's radio and/or TV shows. I may not agree with 110+% of what he believes (& I'm 110+% sure he doesn't agree with me either). At least he does present the Gospel, & given what's now on TV, IMHO that's 110+% better than I see on today's TV "blather"!!
