Here's some more on the smokin' Frosty Woodridge:

I am breaking this down into three parts, like juicy, well done steak that one breaks carefully into parts for better eating.

Cheap Labor, My Armpit, 3 !

There you are, folks !! Chew on it, or spit it out, your call.
As for me, I guess the Old Lady at New York Harbor will have to dim off her lights a bit, and say, "whoa, hold on a minute, now, thanks for responding to my call, but, I gotta 'tend to these children of mine who are mine by law and by birth".

I belive it was the British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli who said there were three kinds of lies.."Lies, damed lies, and statistics".

bewaare of relying on statistics without a full knowledge of their context, too many quote selectively to match their interpretatin .. could be a bit like some preachers...

    Regards
    Bob

It just goes to show, Bob, that anything can be disputed. Even attributing the "Lies, damned lies, and statistics" saying to Disraeli is disputed.

But one thing cannot be disputed, and that is that we have between 10,000,000 - 20,000,000 illegal immigrants in this country, with border patrol agents estimating an additional 3,000 - 4,000 entering each day. And most of those are paid under the table when they get work here.

How do illegal aliens get through the paperwork for food stamps and section 8 housing?

Frankly, all this is a bit reminescent of German propaganda of the 30s. It seems somewhat odd to me that the author quotes from a program that airs in the future. It makes me think that this is not an individual reaching his independent conclusion but part of a concerted, organized effort.

Better workers sending money home than foreign aid that ends up in Swiss banks.

Through counterfeit SS #s and bogus documentation, plus there are plenty of activist groups to help them fill out the government forms. Probably a google search could find out what groups provide those services.

You hit the nail right on the head LE.
What has happened in the work force is that hispanics who are in a position of managment and are sympathetic to aiding illegals will practically do the paperwork for illegals in such cases when they have no great comprehension of our langauges which has resulted in straining the American workforce when naturalized citizens are not chosen for employment despite their qualifications. I have seen this happen with my own eyes. It has also resulted in lower wages for many hardworking Americans.

    What German propaganda of the 30's . . . ?

Did you read it in your papers, or hear it on your radio?

    Truth . . .

The USA spends more money supporting cruel dictatorships with government welfare than the 'illegal aliens' send home.

Sooooo, are we for welfare or for people earning a living?

I'm for Mexico ridding itself of corruption and treating and protecting working families in Mexico as they should. If Mexico weren't so corrupt then illegal immigration wouldn't be an issue. Look at where China is going today despite it being a communist nation many people there enjoy a wonderful capitalistic lifestyle. Mexico can become a nation of more shared wealth, the possiblities are there they just have to want it bad enough.

I think the answer should be: neither.
We are for stopping the bleeding spots of America in as many places as we can.

The challenge now is for the pro-illegals to prove that illegal immigrants do not constitute a burden to American economy and all the other stuff mentioned by the author.

Actually, the burden has been proven over and over . . . so has the root of the problem . . .

CORRUPTION IN THE USA. Remove that and Mexicans can work here legally.

Go one step further and the actual root would be corruption in Mexico. Remove that and the Mexicans can work there, legally, productively and help their nation grow strong and proud.

The propaganda about how the evil Jews are responsible for ruining the country...if you haven't heard of it, look it up - it's fascinating.

"My" papers? "My" radio? What in the world are you on about?
