Tribune endorsement Barack Obama for president

On Nov. 4 we're going to elect a president to lead us through a perilous time and restore in us a common sense of national purpose.

The strongest candidate to do that is Sen. Barack Obama. The Tribune is proud to endorse him today for president of the United States.

Oh but you say that's not news coming from the liberal media, right? No, it is news.

This endorsement makes some history for the Chicago Tribune. This is the first time the newspaper has endorsed the Democratic Party's nominee for president.

This was hard for me to believe as well but it's true. Read the complete endorsement.

Hey, BB, I believe you. Nearly all of the media are endorsing BHO for president. I think they either: (a) have no choice because they have been threatened with something or by someone, or (b) they are delusional. I can see how easily the AC will take over. :tear:

Did you read and UNDERSTAND the fact that the Chicago Tribune has NEVER endorsed a Democrat for President. How do you explain this in light of your distorted view?

It's more like 15/16th of the media in Obama's tank.

Read my post again. Choose either (a) or (b). Even liberals should be able to pick one out of 2 responses.

Rumor is Culin Powell will endorse him this Sunday on Meet the Press. I guess we'll see Sunday.

Gee, you forgot to add choice C) Because he is the best candidate. If you think the Chicago Tribune is being pushed around by the Obama you're smoking something "for medicinal purposes only." If the couldn't be coerced by people like Al Capone and political heavies like LBJ they're not going to be coerced by Obama. What you're claiming makes absolutely no sense.
