Chick-Fil-A is a Christian owned and operated fast food company that gives so much to the community and churches and always closes on Sunday.

Do you know of any other Christian owned and operated businesses so we can support them?

Bess Eaton Donuts up north had Bible verses on every bag and napkin. Ever hear of them? I believe they were bought out by Dunkin Donuts tho.

We buy books, music, and cards at Lifeway but I honestly don't know of other companies! Anyone??

In-N-Out Burger. Good food, excellent service, and active in the local community. (there's a Bible verse printed on the underside of every soda cup.) They were also the first burger chain inmy area to offer Atkins friendly "protien style" burgers, essentially a burger in a lettuce wrap.

BTW, I don't normally patronize a company just because they're Christian. I will patronize a Christian business over a non-Christian business if I'm getting comparable value. But, if a Muslim businessman gives me great service, and the Christian businessman gives me lousy service, guess who's gonna get my business...

Diane--I remember--Truitt Cathy was guest speaker at Chapel service at NOBTS while I was there and he gave out free chicken sandwich coupons after the service----Blackbird kept getting back in line over and over again---until Brother Cathy caught him and made him quit! But by then---I had a pocket full of coupons that lasted until graduation!!!!

This was his facial expression---

This was mine--- :D but only when Dr. Landrum Leavell explained to Brother Cathy that Blackbird is really a  [IMG]

I don't know if anyone has seen this or if you have it where you are, but the eggs I usually buy has a bible verse on the inside top.

Speaking of Church's Chicken...while at my son's graduation from Basic at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, I noticed they had a Church's chicken on the base... I tried their Honey-Butter Biscuits... mmmmmmm mmmmmmmm good! I hadn't seen a Church's chicken in many years... they went out of our area nearly 20 years ago. My aunt used to love their chicken. They have Chick Fil-A and KFC here.

In the freezer case, there are a line of pies and other desserts from "Edwards" and they have a Bible verse printed either on the box or the tin itself. I don't recall. I would have to check. My sister told us about this company, and we have been buying pies from them ever since. Excellent quality desserts!

Hobby Lobby is owned by Christians. They usually put a full page add in the newpaper during Christmas talking about Jesus and they are not open on Sundays.

Brim's Snack Foods in Memphis, TN is Christian owned. They have scripture on every bag, the plan of salvation on their website, and make some very good pork rinds! There website is http://www.Brimsnacks.com

None of these product names are familiar to me but I'm going to write them down and look for them when I grocery shop! Thanks everyone!

Hobby Lobby & Mardel's Christian Stores are both headquarted in OKC, right near each other I believe. I think they are owned by the same family, the CEO of Hobby Lobby is David Green & the President of Mardel's is Mart Green. They are usually located within a stones throw of each other.
I also have a friend I work with that eats at Church's Chicken alot & he refers to them as "the Gospel Bird".

Great places! At Easter, Hobby Lobby gave away copies of "The Case for Easter" by Lee Strobel.
Hymns play in the background. In fact, Hobby Lobby puts out cassettes called something like: "Hymns played at Hobby Lobby".

I just wanted to make a quick note about Chick-Fil-A. About 12 or 13 years ago my cousin (who was going to Berry College in Rome GA on a Chick Fil A scholarship) has just graduated and was going for a job interview in S.GA when someone murdered her as she was driving down the road. Mr. Truit Cathy and Chick-Fil-A put us all up for the funeral and supplied all the food for us. Storing up treasure that cannot be stolen or rust out!!!!
