Chile's Pinochet went to judgment

    Not being God, I can't say. Let's hope that he turned to God at the end, and asked forgiveness.

    I don't know for sure which direction Pinochet went, but it wouldn't surprise me if he went to hell.

    I would not presume upon the man's life nor would I presume that Our Savior is too small to have saved that man.

    But, he did go to face the outcome.

    Good point. I, for one, hope he did find Jesus. Eternity is a long time to be tortured by memories of the faces of all those people that were killed or disappeared during his reign in Chile.

    Here we go again, if his name was ever in the lambs book of life it is still there. There is no eraser that can remove a name.
    There is however the Lamb with a blotter...

    The American people don't. We sometimes elect leaders who do evil things,such as supporting men like Pinochet, but that's another issue.

    Amen!

    From our perspective, it's just as likely that he went to heaven as hell.

    We can know what God has purposed, and if Pinochet was one of His, then rest assured he was saved.

    If Saul of Tarsus was chosen by God and saved, then I don't see how we can rule anyone out based on their actions.
