For Good Friday we are presenting Christ in the Passover at our church. Have been busy this evening making chorosis and morror. Chopping apples, raisins, walnuts, and cinnamon + grating horseradish root.

Making enough so that ALL who come can have a taste, but NOT a complete dinner. I am eating the lamb and will just have the shank bone for the seder tray!!

Anyone else doing something special today?

Our church did not do anything for Good Friday ... Well the kids practiced for the presentation they gave Saturday service. My wife and I both felt we could have/ should have had some sort of service for that day. If and when I am called to pastor at my own church, I will reccomend to the congregation that we do some thing to commemorate it.

I preached in one of the churches in our state which is without a pastor. They had a nice big breakfast provided and served by the teens...eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, freedom toast, and all the fixings...it was great. I preached a special message out of Mark 16 on the resurrection. I know it is not in some of your bibles, :D but its in the inspired one which I used [IMG]
