    New York is not included.

My union came out with endorsements - near a third were Republicans.

Why does the Christian Coalition voters guide provide a Spanish copy. I thought most conservatives believe in English as the official lanugage

I haven't seen this years' CC "voters guide". In the past, their "guide" has been, IMO, some of the most dishonest trash I've ever seen. I'm ashamed that it bears the title "Christian".

Here in Florida during the GOP primaries they only included a few of the candidates and left off the most conservative of the GOP candidates. I made up my mind a long time ago that the Christian Coalition is nothing more than the religious arm of the Republican Party.

The Christian Coalition only asked the candidates questions and the candidates responded. How is that "dishonest trash" Pennsylvania Jim?

They just asked the candidates questions and they responded.

The Christian Coalition's voter guide is non-partisan. The English language issue tends to be a conservitave partisan issue. Since there is no official language in the country, and since the two largest languages spoken in the US and its territories are English and Spanish, I see no reason why having a voter guide in these two languages is even an issue.

It's easy to word the questions is a way that favors certain candidates. I was in a CC meeing years ago where exactly that was being discussed, as a tactic. I left and never went back.

It's also easy to include certain candidates and leave others off. I wonder if they included third party candidates who tend to draw Democrat voters, and omitted ones who tend to draw Republican voters. Can you check? I'd like to know.

John Dowless, formerly the executive director of the Christian Coalition of Florida, was hired by Mel Martinez to help his campaign reach out to conservative Christians. The problem here is that Mr. Dowless is a homosexual who frequents the Lava Lounge, a gay bar in Orlando.
