    This is not about forgetting--more like easing the excruciating pain. Alcohol may not be as effective as a morphine drip; but it is certainly more available and affordable.

    Whatever happened to dying at home and having the funeral at home?

    Modern medicine has prolonged the inevitable with little improvement in the quality of the life. When our savings are gone, pull the plug-- it is time to go. Nursing homes and hospitals are increasing. Who is going to pay for all of this? Obamacare will bail us out for sure.

    Even so, come Lord Jesus.
