I haven't been following the debates, but my first impression of your poll is that the first question at least is too closed or limited. How do you define "seperate"?
I will have to read up on the debates before I can answer.

The application of sound doctrine to one's life "requires" separation from all false teachers, disobedient brethren and worldliness.

If we slight this Biblical truth, then we invite God's judgment!

The answer to the second question is predicated upon the first. If I am "separated and looking for biblical guidance" then my "conscience" will be such that I should be able to follow it.
To blindly follow conscience would be a direct contradiction to being separated and biblically guided.

The ideal answers are "yes" to both questions. We should train our conscience to be guided by Biblical principles and we will then lead a correct separated lifestyle.

Problem is that many want to establish THEIR conscience as the rule for MY actions.

    Legalism through and through.
