Christians Unite to bring back 10 Commandments !

    PROPHECY IS FALLING RIGHT INTO PLACE


    Signs of the TIMES:


    The Christian World is uniting ==

    and guess what, they are uniting to bring God's commandments back as the moral standard of the nations.


    Strange thing is SUNDAY is their big day to celebrate the commandments, while they disregard the day that the commandments actually say God blessed and sanctified.


    Ten Commandments Day


    The Catholic Church changed the Sabbath to Sunday with no scriptural authority from the Bible whatsoever and the whole world will "wonder after the Beast" Rv:13:3

    Rv:17:13: "These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast."

    Dan:7:25: "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws"

    "The Pope is of so great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret, even divine laws....The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth with most ample power of binding and loosing the sheep."-From the Prompta Bibliotheca published in 1900 in Rome by the press of the propaganda.


    "The pope has power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ."-Decretal de Translat, Episcop. Cap.


    The pope's will stands for reason. He can dispense above the law, and of wrong make right by correcting and changing laws."-Pope Nicholas, Dis. 96.


    It is within the inspired words "think to change times and laws" that we discover the "mark of the beast."


    The following are all authentic quotations that will definitely answer our questions as to what the "mark of the beast" is. Notice them carefully.


    "The Catholic Church for over one thousand years before the existence of a Protestant, by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday."-Catholic Mirror, Sept. 23, 1893.


    "Question.-Have you any other way of proving that the church has power to institute festivals of precept?"


    "Answer.-Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her,-she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority."-Rev. Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism, p. 174.


    This quotation emphasizes the fact that since the world accepts Sunday as a day of worship, this acknowledges her supremacy.


    "I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to any one who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says, 'Remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day.' The Catholic Church says, 'No; by my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day, and command you to keep holy the first day of the week.' and lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church. 'Priest Enright, C.S.S.R., Kansas City, Missouri.


    Rv:12:17: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.


    Rv:18:4: And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

    One other thing thats amazing about this so called "Ten Commandments Day" Celebration that all of these Religious Leaders are promoting and attending is that most all the Protestant ministers nowadays claim all they have to do is "believe" and that the Ten Commandments were done away with at the cross.. but when it comes to trying to FORCE other people who are not Christians to keep their "Christian Values" they are willing to legislate morality upon them.

    They themselves will say "Oh I am saved by the cross" ... and believe me, not far long and they WILL be resorting to force.

    Its as if abortion and homosexuality are the only "sins" they acknowledge... but when you mention THEIR sins its always "Oh I am saved by the blood of Christ!"

    Prophecy WILL be fulfilled, not far long and Sunday Legislation will be in force. Religious Persecution will be brought back ...

    Rv:13:7: And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

    Rv:12:17: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.


    Its all about the Ten Commandments. The question is WHOSE Commandments, God or man's? Are you going to do what the Pope says or what GOD says?


    Mt:15:3: But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?


    Mk:7:9: And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.


    Protestants, who for years and years have criticised the Roman Catholic Church for going by tradition instead of by the Bible alone will join hands with the Catholic Church in promoting the false idol Sunday instituted by man in the place of God's Law.

    Blasphemy, "in the place of" God...
    Anti Christ... "in the place of" God...

    2Thes:2:
    3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (the second coming of Christ) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
    4: Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

    11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
    12: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness (lawlessness).


    Rv:18:4: And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

    Rev 14:
    9: And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
    10: The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
    11: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
    12: Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.


    There is no question concerning the changing of Sabbath the seventh day to Sunday the first day by the Papacy. You can readily see that there is nothing to be found in the Bible about changing the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. The Papacy is correct in stating that they changed the day.

    "In reply to a letter of October 28, 1895, to Cardinal Gibbons, asking if the church claimed the change of the Sabbath as her mark, the following was received: 'Of course the Catholic church claims that the change was her act .... And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.'-C.F. Thomas, Chancellor."


    Figure it out, God certainly left enough information for us to follow to piece the puzzle together.

    Enough to be able to puzzle out a person's legalism.
    Enough to know that the Law never says Saturday is the seventh day.
    Enough to know that true rest aka sabbath comes only in Christ.
    Enough to know that rather than waste my breathe on insisting on a specific day, use my time encouraging people to spend everyday with Christ.

    BTW the calendar we all use was set by human tradition. So technically by insisting that Saturday is THE seventh day you are basing it on a human tradition.

    Of course I have to wonder, have the people who insist on certain days of worship see their hypocracy when it comes to not requiring circumcision? If you are going to judiaze you might as well go all the way.

    One more thing... What you can expect to see happening more and more as time goes by is this...

    Christians are going to unite upon what they believe they have in common.. which is the keeping of Sunday as the Sabbath. I have seen so much of that already.. the Pope calling for Sunday Sacredness... so that "society" will get back to God, etc and so on... and Protestants also calling for Sunday Sacredness to be promoted in our society, to "restore America!"


    The Ecumenical Movement will grow more and more as they all unite upon their common points of doctrine, Sunday Sacredness being the chief point.
    Setting their differences aside to "Take back America!" so they claim

    The United States of America is in Bible Prophecy also, but thats another topic.


    The UNited States of America is supposed to be a land where freedoms still prevail.

    The United States has grown to be one of the most powerful countries in the world. Today it is the center of Protestantism.

    The reason America exists is because of the Pilgrims coming here to escape persecution. In the year 1620 Europe was dominated by the Papacy. There was no freedom of religion. State and church were united and Religious persecution was commonly practiced. The pope was the ruler.

    The Papacy herself writes:

    "Catholic Europe before the Reformation regarded the Pope as the Supreme Court of international law."-The Question Box, p. 164.

    As a result of the Catholic church trying to force everyone to accept the teachings of the state church, persecution abounded.

    "That the Church of Rome has shed more innocent blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind, will be questioned by no Protestant who has a competent knowledge of history. The memorials, indeed, of many of her persecutions are now so scanty that it is impossible to form a complete conception of the multitude of her victims, and it is quite certain that no powers of imagination can adequately realize their sufferings."-William Edward Hartpole Lecky, History of the Rise and Influence of the Spirit of Rationalism in Europe (London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1904), vol. 11, p.32.

    Because of the Reformation persecution increased. That is why the Pilgrim Fathers were fleeing to America, to find freedom of religion. This was all prophesied in the Scriptures.

    The Papacy arose in 538 and the Bible declared that it would rule for 1260 years. Then it would receive a "deadly wound". And so something would have to happen in the year 1798. It was in this year that the blow was struck by Berthier, the French general, who took the pope prisoner by the sword, thus fulfilling this prophecy.

    "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Revelation 13:10.


    1. The dragon would give his power, his seat, and his great authority to this beast (Revelation 13:2).

    2. It was to continue in world domination for a period of 1260 years (Revelation 13:5; Daniel 7:25).

    3. It would receive a mortal wound (Revelation 13:3).

    4. It would amaze the whole world, for its deadly wound would be healed (Revelation 13:3).

    When the Papacy was to fall by the sword, a new power was to arise immediately after:

    "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. " Revelation 13:1 1.

    THIS is the Bible Prophecy about the rise of the United States of America, Land of Religious Freedom.

    The Pilgrims landed in 1620. In 1787 the Constitution was drawn up. In 1789 the Bill of Rights came about. In 1791 they were both adopted.

    In 1798 -the very year that the pope was taken prisoner by Berthier, the United States of America was recognized by France as a world power. The same power that inflicted the wound upon the Papacy now acknowledged the United States as coming into the scene as a world power.

    Bible Prophecy is always accurate, God knows the future and never makes mistakes. The Papacy was to continue for 1260 years, and then receive a wound. Immediately a new power was to arise. The United States arose during this very time, and would assume world leadership at the very time it was predicted.

    John Wesley, one of the world's foremost theologians, said concerning this power, in 1754:

    "He is not yet come, though he cannot be far off; for he is to appear at the end of the forty-two months of the first beast."-John Wesley, Notes on Revelation.


    Notice the term "coming up out of the earth" as recorded in Revelation 13:11 as pertains the the United States. All the other beasts came up out of the water, which represents peoples, multitudes, and nations. (Revelation 17:15.) But THIS beast came up out of the earth.

    That means of course that this nation was to arise in a place where there were no nations, peoples, or multitudes. There is only ONE nation that arose in 1798 that fulfills this prophecy-that nation is the United States of America.

    The Bible has given another characteristic of this nation.

    'And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb. 'Revelation 13:1 1.

    The United States was represented as having two horns like a lamb. Throughout the Bible, horns stand for powers and kingdoms, but these were lamb like horns. They were not crowned. The Pilgrims built our government different from the governments of Europe. They founded the Government of the United States of America on the Christian principles of civil and religious freedom to safeguard against religious persecution. Church and state were to be separated. A state without a king ...and a church without a pope. Republicanism and Protestantism were the FOUNDATION of this country.


    The lamb-like horns indicate youth, innocence, and gentleness, fitly representing the character of the United States when presented to the prophet as 'coming up' in 1798 .... Republicanism and Protestantism became the fundamental principles of the nation. These principles are the secret of its power and prosperity. The oppressed and down-trodden throughout Christendom have turned to this land with interest and hope. Millions have sought its shores, and the United States has risen to a place among the most powerful nations of the earth

    The Constitution of the United States guarantees our freedom:

    "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.."-Declaration of Independence.

    "The United States shall guarantee to every state in the Union a Republican form of government."-Article IV, Section 4, Constitution of the United States.

    "No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."-Article VI.

    The First Amendment:

    "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."-The Bill of Rights, Article 1.

    The two great principles of freedom... Republicanism and religious freedom. What can be more just, innocent, and lamb-like than these?

    But God foretells that this power will change from a lamb to a dragon.

    "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon." Revelation 13:1 1.


    "And he exerciseth all the Power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed." Revelation 13:12.

    The wound began to heal in 1929, there have been great changes in our country and we can expect more.


    Note the deterioration of Protestantism. Protestantism made possible the cause for the wound in 1798.

    Rome is silently growing stronger and stronger and at the same time Protestantism is becoming weaker and weaker and more like Catholicism. You may ask, "How can this be? The power of Protestantism is not in numbers or churches. The power of Protestantism has always been in following the BIBLE, but in the past few decades Protestant denominations have been turning more and more from the Bible, to "join hands" with the Papacy in teaching the traditions of men.


    In some Protestant Church they have had confession, burned candles for the dead, and celebrated the mass.

    Dr. Charles M. Sheldon, noted Congregational minister, has this to say: "The church is looked upon as a place to go to hear someone. But people want something more than preaching. They want comfort and courage and the help that does not come to them when it is handed out wholesale. The Confessional of the Roman Church is a recognition of a human craving so deep and eternal, that it is a bewildering thing to see how it has been ignored by the Protestant Church, which has emphasized preaching about piety, and the pulpit above the person."-Atlantic Monthly, January, 1922.


    Protestantism, instead of turning back to the authority of the Word is instead joining hands with one another to form church unions whereby they may find needed strength. Thus we today have a situation in which many churches are combining, ecumenising.

    The principle of church and state separation will become less and less respected. "Unity" will become more and more the goal of the churches.

    Who wouldve ever though we would see this-the Congress of the United States adjourning over the death of a pope, and prayers being offered in his behalf.


    "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth, by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. " Revelation 13:14.

    Protestantism, Romand Catholicism and Spiritualism (in the form of the New Age Movement) will all join hands... but thats another topic still. You will also see alot of paganism, New Ageism, coming into the Christian church more and more as time goes by.

    You should at least get your facts straight. They left England to excape the persecution of the Church of England. Also, if I recall the Dutch who the went to first were largely Reformed not RCC.

    Interesting that there are those who would argue that God "Wasted His time commanding a certain day to worship"

    And yet in Isaiah 66 we have "From Sabbath to Sabbath shall all mankind come before Me to Worship". Does God know He is making a mistake there??

    No?

    In any case - I think the Ten Commandments day is a great idea!!
