Christmas Postage Stamps

    I don't know how correct this is but we have heard the here in the UK one has to specifically ask for Nativity scene postage stamps otherwise stamps with angels are being given out at the post offices instead. It would appear that this is a way of saying that there is no demand for religious/Christian postage stamps.

    I wonder if any of our other British members have come across this?

    I would think it's more of a function of what most people want. Here, they'll bring out the standard stamps unless you ask to see them all or, in our case, they know me and know I want the "religious" ones.

    Angels are also used in other religions as well as Christianity.

    I just told them I wanted Christmas stamps and they showed me what they had. I asked for a mixture.
