    Intercession and Salvation !

    Scripture is clear, that Christ is Mediator and Intercessor for those He died Rom 8:33-34

    33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

    34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

    Simply put, he makes intercession for the Elect that He died for ! And it is those, that He died for and makes intercession for, the Elect, it is those who come to God by Him, which is the fruit of His Death and Intercession, Heb 7:25

    25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

    The ones coming to God by Him, the word by is the greek prep dia and means:

    through

    a) the ground or reason by which something is or is not done

    1) by reason of

    2) on account of

    3) because of for this reason

    4) therefore

    5) on this account

    They come to God because of Him, His Death and Intercession , that is how He is saving them to the Uttermost !

    So there is no proof from scripture that Christ intercedes for any that shall perish in their sins, that is a antichrist teaching !

    Christ acted in the role of the High Priest offering up himself while on earth - thus the provision of redemption. Christ now in heaven acts in the role of High Preist APPLYING His work through the ministry of the Holy Spirit on earth to His elect. Two different works although inseparably connected as cause and effects or provision and application.

    Yes, while on Earth and Now, He is High Priest appearing in the prescence of God for us, if we be one of the Elect ! Heb 8:1

    Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

    These Bible verses are true but no evidence that the "elect" are only those in one's denomination. As in "only people in my denomination truly believe. All the rest only think they believe."

    The Holy Spirit does not apply until the New Birth is time for them, but until that time, Christ is still the High Priest to all for whom He died before their conversion.

    The Elect are preserved all their natural unregenerated lives because of the Intercession of Christ. When He Prayed on earth in Jn 17 it was a pattern of His Heart of Intercession for His Own, of which He Prayed for them before they believed Jn 17:20

    20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

    He makes Intercession for the Transgressors, if they are among His Elect ! Isa 53:12

    Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

    The Holy Spirit has nothing to do with Christ intercession work in the way of application until the predetermined time of their conversion arrives !

    Another one of your sins besides the one you commit by reducing the Eternal God to the status of His Creatures, the next thing you are guilty of is that you deny the Death and Blood of Christ any Merit in and of itself apart from the Application Work of the Holy Spirit, which is Blasphemy because even while the Elect are enemies, unbelievers, they are even then Justified and Reconciled Legally before God by His Death Alone [ Rom 5:9-10], whereas others whom Christ did not die for, are condemned and under His Judicial and Legal Wrath. Jn 3:18, 36

    Your false teaching is exposed, see ya at the Judgment :godisgood:
