The Church costs the USA 71,000,000,000 each year. Should Church's give up there tax exempt status?

This is false, it assumes that the money is already belonging to the government (false) and it ignores what churches do for the communities they are in. However, churches cannot give up their tax exempt status as they are the only organization that has a special exemption in the IRS code. Tax exemption is automatic for a church and cannot be lost.
