I guess when the news hits that 2 billion people have died, all will want to get out of here.

"They were given authority to kill one-quarter of the world by war, by famine, by plagues and with the wild animals of the earth."

You people are celebrating some Catholic churches closing. In the Northeast (although the Catholic Church is the fastest growing church in the world) but when it is pointed out your own churches are the ones losing members you get cranky. When I pointed out that the Catholic church was the fastest growing Church in the world I was question on whether my sources were catholic sources are non-catholic sources. When I showed non-catholic sources show the church has tripled in membership worldwide nothing but crickets! Maybe y'all need to take a look at your own backyard and wonder why people are leaving your churches in droves, huh?

Let's look at Garden Grove, California where the former evangelical Crystal Cathedral disintegrated after Robert Schuller retired. It became a Baptist church right? Nope, because of the enormous growth of the Catholic Church and the area the Catholic Archdiocese bought it for a cathedral. It is indeed still a cathedral, one that is packed week after week with standing room only of Catholic Christians. Glory to God!

No sweat brother, it's prophecied. It's called the "falling away". God has everything under control. The beauty of the Great Tribulation is that many people will reject the Antichrist and receive the Lord Jesus Christ.

Much of your growth of your Catholic Church in America is people already Catholic pooring in over the Southern Border.

Then you may want to call the Bishop the the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse and inform him he needs to change their Website home page.

I live in Roseburg, Oregon. The city is over 98% Caucasian.. St.Joseph Catholic Church has almost doubled in members, added masses, standing room only at most masses. Want to try again? Btw, most Baptist , Presbyterian, congregation, Lutheran, etc. churches here are dying and close to closing.

Just looked at several baptist churches in your area - at least one has multiple morining worship services. if they were close to closing - they would be down to one service. And as I said - there are several baptist churches - Methinks you need to do some actual research before you make such outlandish comments.

Didn't say they ALL were failing. The largest one is on the verge of splitting. Such a 'Baptist' thing
I live here, you don't. Your 'outlandish' accusations amount to accusing me of lying. And, the assertion that the tremendous growth in Catholic churches on the west coast is all because of illegal immigration from the south is bogus. If that were so then the predominantly Caucasian congregations would not be growing and be stagnant or declining like most of the Baptist Churches here. Come see for yourself!

Perhaps you cannot discern the difference between "much" and "all". Depravity seems to be well rooted in you.

God did not ordain any Pastors named Jane. Why would Salty call an apostate?

Previously, you said "closing" now you are saying "spiting". - A "Baptist thing" YES - and that is based on a very important doctrine- of which the Roman Church does not subscribe to. - LOCAL CHURCH AUTONOMY"
In fact, after a church split - both groups may end growing!.

First, I am extremly careful of calling people liars! Second, what I am saying is that you may not have all the facts -

Walter, - you do need to read the entire post of an individual before you answer
xlsdraw said "Much of your growth of your Catholic Church in America" (bold my emphasis) He did NOT say in the NorthWest!.

Send me a plane ticket! :Biggrin

Notice, I did not address the Protestants denomination, you mentioned, as I can not speak for them at this time.
