The Church I belong to is SBC. Our pastor is a professor at a Pentecostal seminary.
You probably know what the church position on tongues is.

    Hello all:

I was wondering if Bro. Stanley had ever read Al Mohler's "Theological Triage" piece?

For those among us who have not read it here it is A Call for Theological Triage and Christian
    Maturity

And here is a you tube teaser with access to the entire message...

I am sure this will generate some discussion, I hope more light than heat....

    sdg!

How can there unity between the two groups, as we worship the true God and His Son Jesus the Lord, while Muslims worship a false god, really satan in disguise!

His break down is really good, as there are indeed issues within Christian that mandates that we need to divide over, but I fear that we have kept separated far too many times over secondary issues!

Did you read what Stanley said? He did not in any way advocate compromising primary doctrine.

Just as long as the church does not hold to we must speak in tongues to be saved, or that God is giving additional revelation to us today!

VStanley spoke of how he came to believe that believing in Jesus Christ was more important than theological arguments like how communion should be served or if babies should be baptized."

If he means that we should not be so much humg up on secondary issues, and forget that we agree on main ones, that is correct.
