Well, we may as well cover all the vices huh? LoL!

I started off drinking the stuff my Mom made every morning before she got out of bed. Actually, she couldn't GET out of bed until she had drank about half the pot! LoL

Then as I got older, I used to stop at Dunkin Donuts every morning cuz I thought their coffee was the "best". WELL, when I found Starbucks, I was blown away! Coffee had gone to a new level! I was HOOKED! ADDICTED! Starbucks, quite frankly, made Dunkin Donuts coffee taste like toilet water! BLECK!

I have since tried to scale back on my addiction, mainly because I live an HOUR from the closest Starbucks now...BOO HOO! But I've tried almost all their "BLENDS". My favorite "mixed" coffee drink is the Caramel Macciato! OH YEAH! I get a "VENTI" the tall and the grande just aren't enough! The fraps aren't bad either and the iced mocha....ooooohhhhhhh aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh Ok, so I'm a coffee freak!

If I could arrange it I would have my first cup via IV before ever getting up in the morning. Im not too big on the flavored coffees, but I do like to kinda mix my own brew of 2/3 Folgers French Roast and 1/3 Vanilla/Hazelnut. It gives a very sutble flavor that I enjoy.

Coffee is ment to be drunk BLACK. If you need sugar, cream, or lots of extra flavoring then you don't really enjoy the coffee.

Ill run and hide now to avoid all of you people who doctor their coffee from dumping it on my head. :D

I am one of those rare people who never drinks coffee. Ever. I tried once in my teens but ended up being awake all night, and it was not enjoyable. I don't like the taste, either.

When people say, "Let's go out for coffee," I reply, "Make it ice cream and I'm there!" [IMG]

Kathy, I'm with you on this one...Starbucks is THE coffee! I first discovered this treat about 6 years ago when I moved to Chicaog. Every morning as I got off the EL, I'd stop in at Starbucks....now, that is even the brand I buy at the grocery store to brew here at home...very distinct flavor and smell to starbuck's!!!Matter, of fact, I'm drinking some now! :D

Make mine decaf and I'll join ya at Dunkin Donuts! ;) Started drinking the stuff at age 2! I remember I was allowed to finish my Dad's cup on Sunday mornings, till I got big enough to enjoy my own cup! Switched to decaf for health reasons in college.

New Believer--At last, another true coffee drinker. Black-just the way God made it :D I started drinking coffee when I was 12. I always had milk and sugar, then dad said "no more sugar, you can have milk in your coffee if you want it" ( I think he didn't want me drinking coffee) Then, one day we were out of milk, and I started drinking it black, been a "coffeehaulic" ever since. :D :D :D

I'm with Footwasher on this one.
I've drank maybe 5 drinks of coffee ever, and I hate it, I can't stand the taste or smeel. I actually get physically ill when one drink.
Plus I must be a rare person who doesn't need help waking up in the mornings, I usually don't even take time too drink, I'm ready to go in only minutes.

Coffee was scarce where I grew up, so my Grandmother used to grow her own. And then she would boil up a pot of milk (which we had abundantly) and put a drop of coffee in there for color. So when I had the chance to drink real coffee, it tasted very strange and I stuck with decaffeinated and lots of milk! [IMG]

For His Name, I'll have to tell my husband that I'm not alone then!! He laughs at me when he sees me brewing a pot of coffee BEFORE bed! Sometimes I just like to have it at night hmmmm, wonder if this might explain me posting on this board between the hours of 12 and 6 am....nah, couldn't be! Actually, the caffeine is good for me with my lungs...it acts as a "broncho-dialator" so, I have a Dr's excuse lol

Hee hee hee......I'm stayin' out of it, except for this.
For His Name, I know the truth. You ma'am, aren't a mere coffee lover. You are a coffee bean reincarnated or something! I used to drink cappuccino, yes, the real thing, I was a coffee-a-holic pre-ulcer.. it's like water compared to that stuff you say "eh, it's a little weak!"
    Flyfree...come back in a few years. ;)
    Kathy, Kathy, Kathy. INFORMATION OVERLOAD!!!

My husband used to drink two of those really big cans of coffee every month. Now he's down to one. Drinks a pot before work.

I made a custom commuter cup that says "This cup belongs to Carolyn. If found, please fill with Caramel Macciato and return to University Stores" (where I work). ;) ;) ;)
And I work right across the street from one :D
