Colossians 2:16-19 speaks about the Lord's Supper. Louis Segond translates verse 19 with "BREAD" ---"Christ the SUBSTANCE" in verse 17 is Christ the "BREAD ministered" in verse 19, served and eaten as the spiritual "NOURISHMENT" of "the Body of Christ's Own" whereon it “THRIVES WITH THE VITALITY OF GOD."

Christ is the "Bread-of-Life", its very "Growth"--"this is My Body"--the "Nourishment ministered"--"Bread...."make increase of the Body"...."they that did eat were four thousand men".
