I was quite upset tonight because a basketball game --Arkansas vs. Texas State??? knocked the show out.

Other x 4. Haven't seen it. What's it about? A Texas moron is given job of President? Nah, even "reality" shows couldn't get away with something that ridiculous  :D

I watch the show semi-religiously. But it's more about being a big Gena Davis fan than anything else.

I watch so I can learn how they run the country. So when I run for President in the next election I will have some idea what I'm talking about!

Then you, Mr Paulsen. And this whole time, I thought Pat Paulsen had died. I've been voting for you in every election. Can I have your autograph??? ;)

I think the show is good, but I also beleive it is a way of getting us to think or get comfortable with the idea of a women president someday. Which I don't have a problem with, as long as it isn't Hillary Clinton.

    Nevertheless, it happened.

Lyndon Baines Johnson was a lousy president.
"Landslide Lyndon" advanced his career through a rigged election and later took over the Presidency when Kennedy was murdered in Dallas.

I have read a news article about it, but have not actually viewed the show. I do find it disturbing that it premiers at a time when Hillary is a likely candidate for the next election. And it seems odd that the Treasury is okay with putting stickers of Davis' picture over $1 bills for a limited time. I read an article about that too (on WorldNetDaily).

    Salt City Baptist,

As far as the JFK/LBJ thing...I'd like to research it a little more, but I was just reading a history book that discussed the matter. It gave some evidence for the view that LBJ had something to do with it all; at this point my personal opinion is that he may have had something to do with it, but that there's probably a bigger picture there too.

It has happened, but more recently than that. LBJ was an, um, interesting character, but he was not a moron.
