I am looking for some commentary on the Rapture by Luther or Calvin and what they thought about it. Really it can be any reformer, I would like to see their prospective about it and what it meant to the reformers. Any comments welcome. thanks BB members.

Calvin was a historical premillenialist...which means he didn't believe in a rapture or a seven year tribulation.

Luther was an amillenialist...since that is the predominate eschatological belief of Catholicism, thus he would have not bought the idea of a rapture.

Check out CCEL.org for more info. It's free anyways. :)
