Ok, what do you do when you just feel slow and sluggish?

Thanks for the tea, Sue! It helped me get up and moving.

Oh Ed, virtual donuts have no calories?? So does that mean we won't get a big virtual tummy? LOL

Are you all keeping cool? The rain is to move in and cool us down by tomorrow!

Hope Sherrie and Blackbird and family are using sun screen!

Well, unfortunately virtual donuts also have virtual taste. [IMG]

Anyone know of a really potent yet not too nasty tasting coffee? I'm so tired, I'm dragging. I could really use a pick me up.

I remember a coke called Jolt that had twice the caffeine. Now if only caffeine didn't make me feel so anxious. Oh well...I guess until they come up with sleep in a bottle...I'm going to be dragging.

Lauren still has night terrors. I spent most of the night freezing on her bed last night. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Oh I'm sorry...I drifted off for a moment.

Katie: Here is some cappucino loaded with caffeine...it will get you going where you will want to sew toes on your dollies forever!

Jim: Of course men still want a rib. You know they can never get enough of a good thing.

Kelly: Those ribs were so delicious! I used Katie's recipe again and I'm tellin ya, they just melt in your mouth!

Hi WS! Welcome to the "Common Ground Coffee House"! I have a special blend of coffee just for you. It is full of caffeine to boost your energy level, but I took out the anxiety producing elements!

Hi Barnabas! [IMG] Glad you stopped in today!

I don't find out for sure until tomorrow morning if I have termites or not. I did not want to pay someone to tell me and I wasn't quite sure. Hubby took three of them, in an envelope, to the USDA, the man he wanted to see was already gone, but he is going to call in the morning. Flying ants would be SO much cheaper to get rid of!!!

I will be back later, please enjoy the fellowship.

Thank you Sue that was nice of you.

I hope that you don't have an infestation. What an ordeal.

Well...I have a mountain of paperwork to get through...so I'll have to call it a day.

A woman's work is never done? And add business owner to that...and I really shouldn't be posting here at all. I better get cracking. Avoiding reality is costly.

Asta La Vista everyone. See you all later.

LOL Ed! I am a small person but not THAT small!

W/S... Just a thought. Have you checked your little girl for pinworms? They cause thrashing and crying in the night. About 30 mins or an hour after the child falls asleep the worms come out and lay their eggs. They're about the size of a thread (the worms are). Our Jon had them when he was little and I thought he was having night terrors or even seizures!

Here's a link on pinworms. I'm not sure where you live but they're very common in the south.

Sue: If it is not a top secret recipe, I would love to try it. [IMG]

When I was in Bible School I cooked breakfast and supper to make a living. I love to cook. My wife told her mother when she was in high School she was going to marry a cook. Her mother laughed at her, only because my father in-law is helpless when it comes to food.

Oh Kelly! I use Katie's rib recipe all the time too! She puts them in a slow cooker with a couple tablespoons of soy sauce or worchestershire sauce. Salt, pepper and garlic powder as you'd like. Cook for about six hours on slow. When the ribs are very tender (which they always are by then), take them out, coat with your favorite BBQ sauce and either grill or put in the oven for 30 mins. at 350. I PROMISE you.... you'll make these all the time after doing it this way! We're having them once a week now!

    Mmmmmmmmm Katie can COOK....... Mmmmmmmmm

They closed the Ryans in our town and I miss it.

But I eat too much at the all you can eat places.
    I'm afraid I won't get my money's worth.

We had chili and cornbread for supper because we had a very cool day. Unusual for this time of year.

I had three hot dogs left in the refrig, they were left over from when Kelly and Elizabeth and children were here last Saturday evening.

Jan was sick - so I did the cooking - poor kids.
I nuked the hot dogs, had just eaten a bite or two, when Jan showed up with a chicken. Oh well, there was probably chicken meat in them hot dogs!!!

PS - You all shouldn't be givin my kid recipes - he'll eat all that good food and get fat like his ole man!!!  [IMG]

I am a good cook and I eat what I cook (including fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and homemade apple pie--yummmmm).

My grandkids say I'm not fat, just 'fluffy'.

Good night all. Pleasant dreams. I will have the coffee on in the morning!
